Tabbed design view for multiple files
Similar to Photoshop or Illustrator (See attached file), it would be valuable to allow for multiple files to be opened and arranged in the design pane using tabs. This would give users a quick way to switch between their projects and will provide a much better workflow in general.
This is a must for me!
UGH YES WE NEED THIS FEATURE WTF WHY DOESNT IT EXIST, TOTAL NO-BRAINER MVP FEATURE!

This is already possible. Xd opens a launcher on startup where you can select the file you want. If you need multiple open, just pull up the launcher and select another file. Both will remain open.
I do this on my Mac frequently, and full screen each document so that switching between just requires a simple three finger swipe left or right to go to the one I want.
I’m not sure if windows version allows for all of that though. I would assume yes.
The feature to have various projects open at the same time in tabs, normally at work I have to open a couple of sketch files at the same time to make prototypes and add them to one single Xd file for presentation. Having tabs would help keep my desktop more organized and it would be easier to find the projects Im looking for.
Where is the tab-function for files? This is super-basic!

Any news here? Would help the workflow a lot.
NEED TABS! I am drowning in a sea of multiple windows, kill me now.
Yes please! This is a top priority that will improve ALL designer's workflows! Why on Earth does Adobe XD NOT have this feature? In all other Adobe products, tabbed design view is available for multiple files, but not XD? I am so confused by this..
This is a huge problem actually, even worse on small screens
Tabs tabs please give us tabs!
Yes, tabbed files are a must-have. I transferred from Sketch to Adobe to align with the rest of my new design team and that's something I miss having that Sketch provided. Also, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign utilize the tabbing structure to manage multiple files. I would like to see XD follow suit. Thank you!!!
Yep. Multiple windows in tabs, please.
It's useful to have the possibility of arrange windows on a multi tab single window.
This will be very helpful!
Tabbed files would be incredibly helpful. This is an advantage Sketch has over XD.
Please include tabs at top for each project window. I would like to visually see all that I have open when working on multiple projects at the same time (similar to photoshop and illustrator). Thanks.
my windows 10 display resolution 1366 x 768
when I create New, I cannot see the bottom of the next screen to choose which device I want to design for. Some options for resizing and scrollbars for this window so that everything can be seen even on smaller resolutions would be great. Also, why not make the New project window into a tab for the original window giving the ability to switch between projects using tabs.
+1 here . Pain to keep jumping to other windows. Common with PS, Ai and every web browser these days so seems like a reasonable request.

This is starting to really get tedious. This would be a really helpful workflow improvement. The bells and whistles can wait...

Please, this should be a no brainer to have it in. Any news here?

HUGE workflow enhancement. Why does Photoshop and Illustrator have it but not XD? I am planning to switch again Figma or Sketch. So many bugs are pending in XD. Without bug fix why XD Launched ?
1. Slice Tool not available for Assets.
2. Multiple tabs can't Open at a time like Photoshop & Illustrator.
3. For Fonts we can't apply Gradient Colors, only we can apply gradients with creating Path, but if will Path converting for Fonts developers can't visible Font Size & Font family details in Zeplin.
