Basic Text Transform: all caps, all lowercase
Add basic text transform like there is in Illustrator to make it easier and faster for developers to code your designs. Our developers have to waist time retyping text for layouts that have already been designed. At least basic uppercase and lowercase.
Hi everyone,
I’m glad to announce that the text uppercase, lowercase and title case transformations are now available with the XD 19 release.
Pro Tip: You can apply the transformations to characters styles and make global updates across the document.

Enjoy and let us know your feedback!

Why is it that every new Adobe app is great on the surface and utterly crap on the seccond look? I'm back in the sketch land.

Seriously, All caps is very essential. Why is this a big deal? You added underline lately, why not add all of them since they are belonging to the same category.

All caps please, as well as tracking, underline, strikethrough, Superscript ect

It would be nice if there were more character editing abilities such as All Caps.

Shift+F3 does not work on mac. Just add the feature.

Please add this feature! Not even the OS' case transformation option in the contextual menu (right click) is available.
Btw, Shift+F3 doesn't work for me here on Mac.

Whoa, Shift+F3. Cool, but not obvious.

Hi! You can change text to Uppercase, Sentence case and Lower case using Shift + F3

This is fundamental. I was surprised that XD came out of beta without simple things like this.
Please add the ability to format text with all caps, underline, etc. This would be especially helpful when using text within symbols. Thanks.

Very surprised this wasn't in 1.0. As important as typography is in web design this is a must have.

I would like this as well. I have great hopes for this product. I'm using it in conjunction with InVision App because it doesn't have some of the features I need just yet. Text Transformation would be a great feature, But would be happier with fixed elements, mirco animations, and page templates before text transformations

Yes please

I don't have a clue why this crucial request just has 300 votes. It's a completely basic feature.

Adobe is losing folks to Sketch and other UX software, simply by missing out on a feature that should've been inherent: text transformation.
Can you please respond to us and give us a date when we could expect it?
Thanks

One good question for you guys!
It's not easy to change the UPPERCASE to lowercase, we have to re-type the whole text again, do you have any plans to fix it? -
Matza commented
Please! Start!

Yes please add all the basic text transform, it is a must with our design direction and graphic designer team. We have so much text to integrate, it takes too long to retype everything it manually to have the all caps on. Thank you!
