Fixed elements in scrolling artboards (header, nav bar, etc.)
Since you already started with scrollable area inside artboard, it would be awesome if we could define sticky header. For example, one page website has a lot of content, but I want to create sticky header so when I scroll down, it stays at the top. Maybe you could add the option so we can define the group and assign the sticky header option to it. That way on any artboard we can just assign that option to it and that's it.
Fixed elements are finally here!! We’re incredibly excited to announce that you can select any top-level element in your artboard and click “Fixed Position” to fix your element anywhere in the viewport.

@joan_lafferty Update on this? My prototypes don't feel complete without this core feature. There hasn't been one person that hasn't commented on it during usability tests. Top and bottom bars are the foundation for every mobile app. It doesn't make sense to even have scrollable pages for prototyping if you can't quickly navigate to other pages with the top and bottom bars. If this isn't in the next update I will be very upset. I look at all the other features that have come out recently but they're all just vitamins, we need a painkiller. There's no point in having a community chat if our voices aren't being heard. We've been very patient for quite some time now. I love Adobe, I don't want to have to go to a competitor because of a lack of features...almost 5000 upvotes now which is probably just a small percentage of the people that feel this pain. Make Adobe XD great again! Thanks!

I like Invision Studio – how a protoyping tool should work, flawless!

Although I love XD, I've been experimenting with the new Invison Studio that allows you to create animations, fixed headers/scrolling etc. Plus, the interface looks and works very much like XD.
I've been waiting very patiently for XD Team to introduce these features (considering that adobe are the masters at creating animating softwares). I do hope that the team bring these within the next update as I am very reluctant to move to any other software but XD - But it seems like I do not have a choice but to move on. -

Unfortunately I will only give Adobe until the next update is released to launch this long, long overdue feature. The curtains are drawing on XD, moving on to Invision as it looks like a powerful multi-platform tool with fixed elements and animations!

Maybe you should consider fixing this now. Either as a "sticky" parameter on an element, or as a "scrollable" parameter on a group which then can extend beyond a visible boundary.
But most importantly: release the scrollable/fixable feature really soon now, ok! -

Yes please!!!
Why not yet? -

I cannot believe that you have not implemented this feature, this is joke. I now have to switch to Invision Studio to get my work done. Adobe is supposed to be a leader… If it were not for the need of Illustrator and Photoshop I would seriously consider canceling bot my Corporate and personal Adobe CC accounts.

This really is a deciding factor me. If this feature doesn't come out soon I will not use XD, I will use Invision Studio instead. Even their BETA has a sticky element feature. This is a VERY basic feature

Actively working is good. Pro-actively would be better. Two years of faffing about is neither...

Common Adobe, give us a date of this implementation! -

please fix this.. 2 years is crazy to have no real update. its such a fundamental feature its unbelievable that its still not functioning. How are we meant to prototype without this?

Adobe Team—what is happening with fixed elements? We requested this feature years ago and are still waiting. I am selecting what software to use with my IxD students for the fall 2018 semester, and am seriously considering switching to InVision Studio unless you can give us a real date on expected implementation. "Actively working on it" is not cutting it anymore.
