Fixed elements in scrolling artboards (header, nav bar, etc.)
Since you already started with scrollable area inside artboard, it would be awesome if we could define sticky header. For example, one page website has a lot of content, but I want to create sticky header so when I scroll down, it stays at the top. Maybe you could add the option so we can define the group and assign the sticky header option to it. That way on any artboard we can just assign that option to it and that's it.
Fixed elements are finally here!! We’re incredibly excited to announce that you can select any top-level element in your artboard and click “Fixed Position” to fix your element anywhere in the viewport.

While scrolling the app/web screen, it scrolls the entire artboard.
There is no such option to fix a particular area (Ex header for web screen or floating button for mobile screen). -

Hope this feature comes out this May

Please, could you at least tell an approximate date when you are going to add this feature? Fixed header/footer really needed for mobile app prototypes...

I've always loved Adobe products, but XD was a let down for me. I was excited about the recording prototype feature, but there are a lot features missing that are necessary. I was hoping for an all for one to improve productivity. I guess I am sticking with Principle, Sketch, and Invision.

5000+ votes... soon 1000 comments... still not enough for Adobe to make things happen on this?

Today I have cancelled my InvisionApp subscription. I'm sure that this information will give you all the necessary energy to complete this feature, which was the main reason I was still paying for InvisionApp.
Do not make me regret, because next time I'll cancel your subscription ;)OM

It’s definitely a limiting factor and given built in protoyping was (at the time) unique to XD it’s odd that it’s been absent for as long.
From what they’ve said/implied on their Facebook videos they are actively working on more advanced micro interactions than just fixed elements. I suspect that and their focus on product speed is why we’ve seen this delay.
Would be great if they could pick up the pace though!

Add fixed elements in scrolling artboards, please. This should be mandatory especially with mobile app design.

I've been using XD from the beginning and I really like it. But I have to say that this missing functionality starts to be annoying. If you want to remain competitive and well ranked on this "interactive proto & design" market, this functionality should be mandatory.

I've only been messing with Adobe XD for about a half hour and this missing feature is already a deal breaker.
