Fixed elements in scrolling artboards (header, nav bar, etc.)
Since you already started with scrollable area inside artboard, it would be awesome if we could define sticky header. For example, one page website has a lot of content, but I want to create sticky header so when I scroll down, it stays at the top. Maybe you could add the option so we can define the group and assign the sticky header option to it. That way on any artboard we can just assign that option to it and that's it.
Fixed elements are finally here!! We’re incredibly excited to announce that you can select any top-level element in your artboard and click “Fixed Position” to fix your element anywhere in the viewport.

Can't understand why fixed elements aren't implemented. Literally all the design team at my office aren't using XD because of this feature.

Yet another update without this basic feature implemented. By the way, the current XD contest, are you suppose to create a great app experience you need this function.

How is it possible to leave out such a basic feature? Did the XD team even research the competition? InVision? Marvel?

COULD BE a powerful toll BUT why on earth anyone spends money on a prototyping tool that doesn't have a basic functionality such as sticky nav (especially the bottom nav) InVision figure this out years ago (sorry guys).

Muchas gracias.

I just downloaded Adobe XD, purchasing a month for my last big project for my Bachelor's degree. I have already realized that I will not be able to use this now. :(
I just feel like this is an essential feature that is critical to have if you want the real experience of an app or website.

I had my hopes up when I saw an update notice popping up for XD. Update finished, checked the Latest Features list from Adobe.com just to be disappointed once more.
Since I work with Adobe products all the time, would be nice I could keep doing so when prototyping for a client. Makes things so much faster when I can just copy elements straight from Illustrator to XD without exporting a bunch of .jpg images from different faces of the application and upload them to InVision, a competitor.
But looks like Adobe values "Better zoom performance" more than a feature, that their COMPETITORS had figured out since day one. I am forced to use InVision. I think Adobe is trying to create some superior fixed header / footer system but while they are fiddling that, they are losing users. Give us a simple option just to make the header / footer fixed and THEN keep working on the feature more if needed.
Get your marbles together, Adobe. You are the industry standard of visual creation so we expect far better performance from you. This is unacceptable.

Same here, just started a project and realised that I should stop immediately without this option.
