Shortcut to activate eyedropper to pick a color
I really miss the (l) colorpipette/colorpicker shortcut. Because I now have too much (mouse/pen)movement to the right panel, in stead of doing all with shortcuts... This and more shortcuts from photoshop/illustrator like (z) for zoom.

An eyedropper shortcut is even more needed now, after the change that was released with the 2.0 XD CC update, where we now have the eyedropper button hidden within the color picker.
This change is good because now we can grab colors and add them to a gradient, but this scenario only happens rarely.
It's much more common that we need to grab just one color for a shape or a text object, and in this case the eyedropper tool is even less accessible than before: you now need two clicks to activate it, which is far from ideal.I see 2 solutions:
1. Enable a shortcut to activate the eyedropper tool, like in Sketch (CTRL +C)
2. Or activate the eyedropper tool by default, as soon as you open the color picker and as long as the mouse cursor is anywhere outside the color picker area.
Exactly like in Photoshop, which I think is great and super quick.

One of the reasons I want to use XD more than Sketch are the Adobe shortcuts, but going to the panels to pick a color (thats already in my design) is just a hassle too much.

Ctrl + C, it's a very frequently used shortcut for me in Sketch.

Very tedious, agreed. Would be an easy feature add.

For such a small and simple feature, this honestly should have shipped with release.
To be clear, I'm not as bullish on the eyedropper tool's function being exactly like illustrator's (which is awesome) - I can wait for that.
But please, for the love of all that is good and holy in this world, just give us the keyboard shortcut!

This is something I really miss when I started using sketch after years of Illustrator.

One of the best color picker is of Illustrator. It not only pick the colors but you can also apply the styles of the object. It would be great to have that in XD but if not then just a short cult with do. It's quite annoying not to have this basic feature for Adobe users.

Came here to request this as well! I keep finding myself "I+click" and nothing happening. It's getting pretty tedious.

+1 - Not having this is slowing me down more than anything else.

When I think about the lack of this very standard functionality, I can't help but wonder if the UX team within Adobe that is working on Adobe XD Initiative is actually familiar with the standard photoshop/illustrator/inDesign workflow - and if not, I am very conerned about the future of the product.

I have been using this app from day 1 and I still hit [i] for the eyedropper expecting it to be the hotkey.
Please add this

The mouse travel alone on this is getting out of hand.
