Any word on when this might make it into XD? I see that it was marked as started in Aug 2016. Hoping its here soon.

these should allow for css styles like dashed and dotted but also allow for visual styles that can be exported and used as images when the css definition doesn't exist and is being created as a custom rule line or other such element.

I think it would make more sense if the XD team followed an overall philosophy that visual styles map to those of the W3C CSS definitions (when it makes sense). So in the case of borders, I'd like dashed, dotted, solid, etc. styles.
Being able to define a visual style with dashes and gaps that can't then be replicated with CSS doesn't make much sense to me.

Translated:
Please prepare a broken line as the line type is only solid line.
It is useful to prepare several patterns of dashed lines.
Since there was an icon like a dashed line when drawing a rectangle, I thought that changing the 4 numbers would make the line a dashed line, so I did not have to work hard and finally the individual round corners are changed I understood it. -

I use the dash gap tool in Sketch so I can make a partial circle - like in a donut graph. here's an example.

Having a roundedness for the stroke ends a la Illustrator would be useful - goes a long way to giving the dashes and gaps more flexibility.

Nice to see finally in progress.
Like to add other styles of lines for square/rectangles, circles, lines
Also other styles like double line (so I dont have to draw to objects to do one action) check similar options for line styles in balsamiq for inspiration

Just looking for this feature, and happy to find this response. 2 fields does seem sufficient.

Please, add align of the borders: inside, center, outside.

as other mentioned the stroke (inside/outside/center) would be really nice. Also the line endings with the possibility to add arrows or dots. I could also imagine that it is possible to set a custom shape as line end/start

Dear Adobe, you already have almost perfect application. It's InDesign. All that features all of us are asking here are implemented in this application. Transform, Swatches, Text objects setup, Styles etc. We are used to using them. It would be XD's 100% success if you could implement these features also in your next (I hope so) application — XD.
Thank you in advance! -

stroke inside/outside/center is also very useful, I think. It helps a lot with making elements (with borders) fit nicely together.

Hi Tom,
First of all I would like to thank you to and others user who voted this feature for make it happening.
Yes agreed to keep this thing simple and go ahead!
Is it possible before final release of this feature, you share with me ( or some testing/beta version) so that I can do some Usability Testing based on my every day design scenario.
Your thought?
