Hi All! Check out today's update of XD. It is version 47 and includes the ability to make any object a hyperlink. To use hyperlinks:


1. Go to Prototype mode

2. Select an object and add an interaction.

3. Choose a trigger like Tap.

4. Choose the action Hyperlink.

5. Add a destination URL.

    I think it is utterly ABSURD that this isn't a feature. And to suggest that it has been "under review" for, literally, years is completely insulting. Exactly how long does this take and is there any other reason not to implement it than because you want to force everyone to remain in A SINGLE Xd file?

    Cant agree more, having external links and embedded video would help with several things, like showcasing a complete user journey and as well for using XD to build portfolios and stuff (which ive seen done in InVison for example)

    XD is a beautiful and intuitive design tool that surpasses so many out there providing a great, customizable alternative to adobe portfolio, motion array and vimeo - it just lacks the option to embed video! Such a shame. All the other mentioned platforms state they're customizable but they haven't met my requirements as a designer and artist - whereas XD does. Please enable XD capable of embedding video!

    I cannot understand how to connect the buttons that I have designed on Adobe Xd to a clickable link on an Online Page.
