Hi All! Check out today's update of XD. It is version 47 and includes the ability to make any object a hyperlink. To use hyperlinks:


1. Go to Prototype mode

2. Select an object and add an interaction.

3. Choose a trigger like Tap.

4. Choose the action Hyperlink.

5. Add a destination URL.

    Really need this feature, many of us embed xd prototypes on our websites. It would be great to be able to link elements externally.

    Need this feature so badly! Right now I have to put the pdf back into InDesign and edited it again, not very convenient though.

    When shared on the web, links do not support browser features like:
    - Open in new tab
    - Mousewheel click to open in new tab
    - Copy link address
    - etc

    Links in general should support browser features you would expect to work on links.

    I desperately need this feature. For now, I'm having to screenshot the external site and paste that into an XD artboard to mimic the actual experience. Such a waste of design time when I ought to just be able to cut/paste a link.

    It's a real shame that we cannot give our clients the full UI experience during the prototyping stage through not having this feature

    How is this still not a function of XD? Sure this would have been a key feature in the concept of the program?
