Hi All! Check out today's update of XD. It is version 47 and includes the ability to make any object a hyperlink. To use hyperlinks:


1. Go to Prototype mode

2. Select an object and add an interaction.

3. Choose a trigger like Tap.

4. Choose the action Hyperlink.

5. Add a destination URL.

    This would be a useful feature and give you the ability to link to other XD presentations which might provide more detail or scenarios.

    This is a basic function and you cannot create a website without allowing the user to connect with external hyperlinks. This needs to be implemented ASAP. Please and thank you for all the work you have done thus far.

    please, it's time to add it, sketch already has it!
    it's essential for website designers, or a least in prototype mode to be able to sign the developer there a link to somewhere... come on!

    At the very least, having the ability to enter the URL so that when a design is exported a developer would know where they should code that button/linked item to go would be better than having to comment afterwards in whatever sharing tool (Adobe specs or via Zeplin).

    I need to link to an external link while presenting with the online prototype mode. The external link needs to open in a new tab.

    this feature needs to be implemented asap. in fact i dont understand how its been so long since its under review... not so hard to implement
