Hi All! Check out today's update of XD. It is version 47 and includes the ability to make any object a hyperlink. To use hyperlinks:


1. Go to Prototype mode

2. Select an object and add an interaction.

3. Choose a trigger like Tap.

4. Choose the action Hyperlink.

5. Add a destination URL.

    Hey everyone on this thread should use Figma instead. It's XD but better and allows basic things like adding external links.

    Please, please enable hyperlinks. Whatever your rational for not inserting this feature yet, you need to put your customers FIRST. Please insert.

    Adobe is being super sketchy for not adding this feature 4 years after it being requested. Such a simple update. They are too comfortable in their money. Thank goodness other software is emerging and their imaginative monopoly will be non-existent.

    Need that feature to add youtube videos, links to web sites on prototype.

    I was hoping that this feature was available and I just hadn't discovered it yet. This is table stakes for a prototyping tool. Presentation software allows for external linking, come on Adobe!

    To add insult to injury, this was suggested in 2016 and 4 years later it still hasn't been implemented? What gives? Add the feature already!

    I think Adobes biggest challenge is that it's becoming the software worlds edition of Canon / Nikon....

    Too many variations. And while they could probably narrow the line down to 3-4 products, they wont, because it's not cashable... But Adobe having evolved into being Adobe, is just not a customer focused company, and they probably never will be again.

    It's not like a lot of these implementations that people ask for and observe in other programs are hard to do. But likewise a lot of people also are too heavily invested in the Adobe workflow and they know this, and take advantage of it.

    Seriously... there are so many issues that could be rectified and generate IMMENSE customer satisfaction.

    So, I guess that's just a big fat line under where the attention of Adobe management continues to lie.
