Enable timed transitions (not triggered by user interactions)
Enable timed transition, something triggered by timing and not by user interactions (e.g. a notification from a server or a splash screen going away in a couple of seconds).
You can now use timed transitions in the September release of XD! If you can’t see the update, select … from the Creative Cloud desktop application and select “Check for App Updates.” If you have additional suggestions for this feature, please file a separate request!

Really need this functionality so badly, without it Xd will always feel incomplete to me unfortunately.

May 9, 2018. I thought for sure when XD officially launched they would have added this. Would really love for this feature to get added. Would make my prototypes much more accurate.

This needs to get added. It seems very simple. Does Adobe think it will hurt sales of other products?

This is a must have along with fixed elements. We don't need any more integration updates.

Hello! Its an important feature for prototypes (specially pop ups for apps). Is there a reason why this feature been added yet?

Yeah, guys. 330 votes requesting this feature over the past TWO YEARS, might be time to go ahead and just add it now.
You're Adobe, but a bunch of random web apps are basically killing you in the UX prototyping department. Please get on the ball. For this and a few dozen notably absent basic fundamental features.

Strange this still hasn't been added yet almost 2 year after first request. Essential in my opinion.

I'd be able to make use of Xd if this feature was added. Necessary in my opinion.

Automaticly changing artboards would be awesome, by this I pretty much mean loading screens where you can set the duration of how long the duration is. How it would work is you would create and design your own loading screen(s) and then once done you would go to prototype and check off "Auto Change Artboard" and set the duration. It's something that would help a few people with web designing for things such as "Were just finishing up your settings..." page, which is something I have, however I must manually click t get to the next Artboard which can feel a bit annoying

Yeah, transition without clicking is needed. This product would become useful if that was added.

Have a link option that goes to the next page but at the point of setting the link, you have a 'to' or 'through' option. The 'to' is just the normal transition. However, the 'through' option means that the transition will go to the next page but it is timed and at the end of that time a new transition occurs without needing a click. It would support a kind of simple animation. I have nearly completed the UX To Ui course and need to do a fully featured prototype but I can't because between two slides I need to show marbles falling into a jar. With 3 'through' transitions I could show a very basic animation but it would get the point across. Right now all I can do is show a before and after event on two linked slides (a bit dull).
