I thought this feature was a standard in the prototyping software's world.

Over 2 years later and still not in the app. I don't think it's that difficult? Can't even go to Sketch because of Windows :/

After 2 and a half years I think adobe will have hover effects in their update this month.

if not then can somebody from Adobe confirm when it will as i hacw wasted so much time re designing stuff in sketch and invision to show certain features

For designing desktop applications, adding hover as a trigger for transitions have become essential nowadays. I have always been an Adobe CC fan, but this single feature is forcing me to move to Sketch. Please give us this feature. I want to continue using XD!

It would be very helpful to have the hover effect, I have to import all of my prototypes to In-vision just to use that one single effect. I want to stick with Adobe. Please guys, even just a "yeah, we here and appreciate your needs, we are working on providing this feature" would be nice. I love you!

This should be standard... I can assure you that designers will benefit from this feature more than a single hand of users that will be needing Voice transitions/animations to make their point on daily basis - right now. In the future Voice-features will surely be more important.

Please give us a hover state.

I mean.... no hover states on a PROTOTYPING tool!? The world's gone mad.
how can you release voice activation functionality - but not hover states....?????? I'm speechless

It IS one of the most important features to work on. After all, XD is to prototype web pages, and one of the most fundamental feature is navigation, which begins with HOVER STATES. Voice activations before hover? Come on...

Now that auto-animate is in place, would be awesome if it can be triggered on hover.

This has been tagged as Feature-in-the-backlog for over 2 years now, whats the hold up? This is way more important than Voice activations. Auto Animate is nice and all but what is so hard about giving us the ability to have hover states?

We really need this feature :) Auto-animate is great, but there should be a different way to show hover state :)
