This one seems like a no-brainer. Need it now!

Why is this not a thing. You don't need to pay plugin devs 20k to come visit you. You just need to get a few things right. Hover effects, margin/padding, alignment and then you're 90% there.

Sketch+Invision offers this seamlessly. Please add asap.

Started using Adobe XD and was so shocked it did not have this. So basic and such a fundamental feature, I'm actually angry they have refused to do this.

So exited to see that this feature has been started! I really really hope, that you guys will find a better way to go about this than certain other prototyping tools out there - that I will leave unnamed - where every single hover or tap for every single button on your page must be defined in it's own artboard... this is beyond tedious! I'm dreaming of the ability to design a button, then converting it into an asset - let's call it a button asset - when creating a button asset I will be able to define the hover- and tapped states, I can then pull this asset onto any artboard in my design and change it's text - the width of the button will adjust to this, making use of the padding values defined in my button asset. That, in my opinion, would be amazing.

I just had to export from XD to Invision for hover behaviors. I am so sad this feature is missing.

Please give us an update on this feature. This could be massively helpful when trying to illustrate an interaction for our clients.
