This feature is the only thing that forces me to use other prototyping tools such as Invision app, along with timed transitions.

SInce Muse is being killed in favor of Adobe XD, please implement Hover Effects ASAP. Please. Literally begging here.

Hover states are ESSENTIAL for prototyping .. without hover states xd is useless. clients are visual.

We all agree that hover effect is important for prototyping web application.
Adobe should really consider adding it to XD- For time being i'm sticking to Sketch.

Fantastic June Update to XD, but I'm still forced to use Sketch because of the lack of hover effects. As a product designer, apart from designing mobile apps I also design web applications and desktop apps. I need to be able to design any application with this tool for it to be my main tool. I sooo much wish I could switch over and use XD, but for now I have to keep using Sketch and invisionapp. :'-(

From an engineering perspective one can safely say the Adobe team will not be able to implement a hover/mouse over effect to XD unless they re-engineer the whole software which is not in their best interest due to time constaints.

Adobe XD has always been an App prototyping tool, not web!

Please insert the hover effect in the prototype of Adobe XD, because in the other proto-manipulation tools example: Marvel App and InVision App offer this integration for maximum fidelity of the prototype.

3rd place on your top ideas list. It is ELEMENTAL for every desktop prototype. And this request from 2016 (!) isn't still done.

Fireworks has so much things already which are missing in XD. *sighs*

Adding Tap/Hover will mean a whole re-engineering of Adobe XD which is not in Adobe's or the majority of its user's best interest. The backlog is vast and prioritisation is a battle.

Just like how Adobe are restructuring their products i..e Adobe Muse for certain use cases, the same applies for Tap/Hover effect on Adobe XD- Adobe will not implement them! So, just forget it
