Paragraph styles
In order to make global typography changes, it would ber very useful to have paragraph styles as part of the feature set. Bonus: export CSS from these paragraphy styles.

I can't vote for this enough. Styling text in XD is a giant pain, keeping it consistent in the design is even more so.

This missing feature let me stay at sketch …

This is basic functionality that should have been in Xd before it went into beta. Without styles Xd is effectively unusable for large projects.

YES. Can I double vote for this one? Makes the app almost unusable. If the client wants to change up the typeface I would need to alter EVERY spot in the design?!

Adobe UX needs paragraph and character styles as feature. It would be a big save of time and it is a way to relay the hierarchization and the mind structure of the design to the front developer. The way it works in Indesign is very confortable. Please :)

I would like to use Adobe XD, but I need paragraph styles. I am going to be sticking with Sketch for all my prototyping design needs until adobe can figure this one out. Too much time is wasted on separately editing multiple h1's on all the screens.

Can we get an update on where XD Team's priorities lie with Paragraph Style features? For designing large blocks of flowing text this would be extremely helpful to our workflow.
A good MVP would be to hit Photoshop or Illustrator's Paragraph window settings.

Love what you guys are doing with XD, but don't forget the features that make a big impact on workflow - Paragraph and Character Styles.

The feature I really miss a lot. The perfect example of it is InDesign.
To be able to edit different styles on all the artboards and not only one at a time. Imagine setting up a H1 style and applying it on 25 artboards 3-4 times per screen design. To change the font or size or color i need to select all of items at once (the worse is to deselect all the items by clicking on the wrong spot) or do it one by one, or by using "repetat grid" on one artboard at the time. It would speed up the procces by having a master settings instead of doing all the changes manually.

Just paragraph margins at a text box or even global level would prevent having to break your text boxes up to achieve simple consistent paragraph spacing (para-leading).
Setting paragraph styles several times within a text box feels OTT. In a site you'd really aim to set these globally and tweak up exceptions locally so makes sense to force a new text box for exceptions but be able to set some global styles -

I second Paragraph and Character styles, as well as global styles altogether, such as color palette and a nested/hierarchical symbol system. Please take what Sketch App is doing right, and integrate it into Adobe Experience Design, and my entire team will make the switch because we love Adobe products and are impressed by what the Adobe Experience Design Preview has shown. Its missing this one functionality preventing it from progressing from 'Good' to 'Awesome'.

Hi Adobe, it's great to read this is being considered by Adobe XD. Because, in fact, it's an essential function, not an optional one. I've posted comments about exporting and symbols, those will make XD incredibly powerful, however type styles are an essential component in UI design. You can't come out of beta without it. Please consider moving this from back-log to In-Progress. Without type styles UI Design in XD remains pre-1984.

I had to substitute fonts used in an entire app project.
I couldn't use grids for everything, since the missing exceptions to 'unlink' objects, so I had to manually change almost each and every text field. Very unpleasant.
Please add styles soon! Thank you. -

I can't recommend this product to large clients without Paragraph and Character Styles

As I'm enjoying what's in the app so far, the lack of rich paragraph and character styles is rather frustrating. It would be great if there were as robust as indesign, after effects, and PS with the added ability to hoover and slide with the mouse over the specific area to increase or decrease.
