Paragraph styles
In order to make global typography changes, it would ber very useful to have paragraph styles as part of the feature set. Bonus: export CSS from these paragraphy styles.

As we know the UX & UI design mostly based on Paragraphs and Text, so I see is very important to add Paragraphs justifications like Illustrator and the rest of Adobe Apps.

A list of 20 styles that are all named "Arial' is not helpful in any way ,whatsoever. A list of 20 styles with names like "H1, H2, H3, hyperlink...." THAT is helpful. It's so disappointing to have a need so basic to designers be missing at this stage in the development of this tool. Wondering if I made the right choice to add XD to my skill set recently when I could have chosen another option and encountered less frustration. My loyalty to Adobe products has gotten me far, but PLEASE. For the love of all that is holy. Give me NAMEABLE paragraph and character styles in my prototyping software.

Deal breaker. . Adobe has such powerful type controls. The lack of them in XD is puzzling.

New to XD and have been looking everywhere for the paragraph styles.. I guess this explains why I couldn't find them!

Please add the ability to control the line-height/leading between individual paragraphs within the same text area.
This is a critical feature that is keeping me from rolling out XD to my team and 3rd party vendors.

joke of a software, no type styles, no underline text... and call this a design software...

To be honest I don't switch between them that much so it's not a huge inconvenience for me, but I see what you mean :)

But isnt it a bit inconvenient to switch between layer and assets, when you wanna change type styles in your design? Would expect type styles in the right text tool section. just my 2 cents.

Sorry, i didnt see the assets icon in the bottom... Thats where these things go :)

Malte Schümann this has been added in the latest beta :)

So there are really no type styles in XD? This is a massive showstopper, isnt int? And since its over a year in backlog... no one cares?

Really would like this (paragraph styles), especially since it is being used in CSS

One of the final, key features I'm missing in XD apart from the upcoming timeline. Keep up the good work guys. Looking forward to this one.

Deal-breaker for me - got excited by XD's features - saw no ability to do paragraph/character styles - and returned to my previous apps.

Yes, we need paragraph and heading styles! So necessary for any web page over 2 pages. I vote up this feature.

I love XD and been using it for a while - at first it's speed was so beautiful and it still is, but on major projects it's becoming a tad slower now without these tools. I know it's beta and we all get it - But XD is so engrained in our workflow now that it needs next level please

Everytime I start a new project, I miss the character styles. To choose headlines for example over 20 or more art boards is no fun! Please open the doors for character styles!!!

I'm knee-deep into my first website design in XD and would say I LOVE it if it wasn't for the lack of paragraph and character style options. The ability to make something all caps or manipulate line-height is a very basic need for a designer. Please add these features ASAP! I agree that the way INDD handles these features is ideal

It is very important to be able to use presets for character styles!
