Creative Cloud Library Support (share symbols/assets across multiple files or team)
This would make it easier to use the assets created in other Adobe applications.
Dear XD Community -
I’m excited to announce that we have shipped a new version of Creative Cloud libraries in XD that allows you to:
1. Add assets from XD to CC Libraries
2. Brings in the full functionality of CC Libraries in other CC Apps such as Photoshop and Illustrator into XD
3. Allows you to consume XD components in other Apps such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
To learn more about the new Creative Cloud Libraries improvements, please check:

and

Please give it a try and share with us your feedback on areas that you would like us to further improve upon.
Thanks,
Sherif

Adding assets from Illustrator or Photoshop works great in XD thank you! I noticed those assets also stay synced so if I make a change in Photoshop or Illustrator those changes sync to the cc library and any instances on the artboards (very handy!) Sadly the same doesn't happen to my XD components in the CC Library. Any updates to make that work similar to the assets panel in XD? I would just share my xd file with fellow designers but there's no read-only version option. Probably another feature request I should go upvote.

I already put in a ticket requesting a roll-back to the previous CC Library. This new library "feature" is so freaking unusable it's not even funny!!!!
It's slow as hell. It takes MINUTES to load my images on scroll (on a fast computer - and no, it didn't use to be this way.)
I cannot place it outside of the app boundaries which is SUPER ANNOYING!!!!! I loved that I could previously move it to my other monitor or just outside the boundaries of the app while I was working to avoid having to cover any of my valuable work space.
The color previews are unnecessarily HUGE - do we really need a large preview for a color block? And, since I have so many colors saved, it takes forever to scroll through my colors to get to my graphics, forcing me to either have to constantly re-open/close the colors drop down or scroll and wait, scroll and wait, and so on.
The ability to organize is great, except that my library is already organized (via Illustrator) - so WTF are my existing folders/org structure not being pulled in? I'm not going to organize my library twice - what a waste of my time.
The list/grid view is great, as is search... but I'd gladly give them up to have my old library pane back.
This was a MASSIVE MISS. This new library pane was not well designed - or well developed. It really does not seem to have the level of quality I've come to expect from Adobe. It doesn't just cause me a little frustration every time I have to use it - it makes my ANGRY. I'm to the point where I've started rage-quitting the Library Pane and just started importing the files manually from other sources - because even THAT is less work & frustration than using the new CC Library pane in XD.
This was not what I wanted - and the fact that you are calling it feature-complete upsets and disappoints me greatly.

Please allow us also to add elements from XD to the cc libraries also, such as colors and text properties. I get tired of having to open up specific programs in order to add different elements to my libraries.

There's an inherent problem with the library's integration. I started Adobe XD literally today. I was working on a web design project in Photoshop and it's horrendously slow and I'm tired of pixelated text, vectors, everything. I imported my project into XD from the PSD design and every vector object that was a CC library asset was converted to a poorly rasterized vector in PNG format. Hopefully you're working on the property to keep the file formats or allow predefined settings, like converting all vectors to SVGs, on import for appropriate export when the design is ready for development.

Would love to be able to share 'private' libraries within our enterprise (company) or teams and not rely on the CC as we legally can't leverage external cloud storage.

What about to add a search inside the library also?? That's even more important don't you think?

Color palettes from Adobe Color! Now they are all listed as unsupported elements. :(

I've named and grouped my colour swatches and character/para styles etc in cc library – would be great if this could be seen in Xd too – takes a lot longer to find what I'm looking for by having everything listed individually in one long list.

What about color palette support? Not just individual swatches. PS and IL have this feature already.

I am so glad you guys are doing such a thing. This will help many poor people and many children will be educated too. this is a very good idea. It is very nice to introduce the color and character shellow used to enjoy.

Share libraries please. It's the one missing necessity that would make XD our tool of choice

Elaine Chao! Please help us!!! https://twitter.com/iamdesignsjoel/status/1118339019698360320 We need to share symbols!

Yes - I need to be able to:
1 - open other XD files in my Assets Panel as a library
or
2 - be able to pull from and ADD TO CC libraries(or both!)

A pity it's not possible to upvote comments here. Anyway, I have pretty much the same comments as those posted below, plus I need to be able to share and sync styles across xd files because the projects I work on tend to grow into numerous files and after some time, months, years it's a total mess.

It is a must have. It is impossible to work with XD files as a team without library support for shared symbols. Not to mention Design System. Are you still working on this Adobe? Last post from you in 2017...

We need shared libraries in XD. The ability to design and share components for the whole team to use within XD. This is the main factor why our company will keep using Sketch and not Adobe XD.

I can successfully pull in symbols/styles from existing cc libraries in XD - works fine.
But the thing is, I do most of my work in XD. I'm in the middle of updating our libraries based on comps I'm creating in XD. It is very inconvenient that I have to recreate them in Illustrator in order to add or edit symbols/styles and share them with the larger team. This is extra step is slowing down my flow, and it is making it increasingly hard to maintain our library as it grows.

I understand the concept behind this panel, but I really don't find it at all useful. Adobe CC Library is just so much more powerful. I understand that there are different teams for each product, but CC Library is one of those universal features whose greatest asset is it's ability to work between products. Please, please, please put your heads together on this one. Illustrator's Adobe CC Library game is strong right now - why not just improve the Library to include XD assets and get rid of the XD Assets Panel altogether? The Adobe CC Library even pops-out, allowing me to to place it on a different screen in order to maximize my artboard space (unlike the Assets Panel). The Assets Panel feature is just redundant. As it stands, I have to manually add colors to my color palette from Adobe CC Library (since they are brand-guide dictated), then AGAIN, manually add them to my Assets Pane. Same goes for my icon library, character styles (not even supported by AdobeXD's Library Panel, but is by other products?), etc. Just too much work. I love where your head is at, it's just not there yet.

Adding, editing, removing and ORGANISING library elements from within XD is a big requirement.
