Animate individual elements separately (custom animation transitions / microinteractions)
Support for simple animation.
Example: Show/hide a slide or push menu
This would enhance a demo and engage prospects that are familar with common application patterns.
Reopening the feature request, based on feedback.

It's crazy this isn't started yet...interaction aesthetics are at the heart of interaction design.

I have requested this feature since XD was released as beta. I can't believe that it hasn't been added yet. Until this feature is added to XD I'll have to keep using principle. Maybe Adobe should just go and buy Principle.

This i s by far the best request! I was designing a search bar today and i really wanted it to slide down from my header when I press the search icon in the app. This would make it so much easier for both developers and stakeholders to understand and "feel" the thoughts the designer has put into it.

If adobe XD can do the same on the Flinto, that would be very very Awesome

Make it so that you can design your own animation curves similar to that found in chrome dev tools when you are defining an animation.
Also allow the animation of separate elements on an artboard

Yes, we need motion design capabilities! Just like in Edge Animate and After Effects. I hope you bring in the same features into XD. I beg you adobe to make this happen!

We need those animations to be exported in SMIL format. It is the only format that runs on mobiles apps.

Yes, micro-interactions are the key to any successful prototype -- especially if you're trying to sell your idea to the product owners -- these can argue for a case that saves on future technical debt. Without this we are essentially forced to continue to trudge through Axure

Exporting individual UI elements complete with microinteractions to web components is truly the future of app design. Let's make it happen!

+1 for microanimations, an absolute must for the future of web/app experience.

I would like to have a function when i connect one artboard to an other artboard that i could have multiple animation on that one click. For example if i click a button i would like to come to the next page AND an other animation should get activated on that click. So, for example Select a rectangular and connect it with a animation(a timer set on 250ms that a background colour should appear in that particular rectangular).

Take a look at the just announced version 2 or prinicple and their components feature. This will be extremely useful for creating set of controls to be reused by team members. Reuse microinteractions

I was building a flat that has a static background, and a container within it changes content based on user actions. I was sad when I found out that I couldn't create transitions/animations on the container within the artboard without the action applying to the entire artboard.
I wish I could have a prototype that allows interactions on elements within an artboard, without transitioning the board as a whole.

Ley us point element to same page. i want to set up a menu and would like that the element of the same page has the link that links to the same page. Also let us copy link form one artboar to other so we fdont have to set up linking in every page.

At a minimum, you should be able to do something like this. I started to drop in some screenshots and mock up a prototype, but there just aren't enough page transitions to make it usable. You really need to be able to click a button (transparent box) and have a menu pop up. Having just that feature alone, added to the current Xd build would add so much value!
