Scrollable Area (not scrolling whole artboard)
Define a scrollable area within an artboard
This provides real-world app use cases, such as a table, slideshow, or iOS dropdown lists.
Hi everyone,
I’m excited to announce that with XD 30 we’ve added support for Scroll Groups. Try it out and please let us know your feedback.
Use these resources to learn more about the feature:

Please, could you at least tell an approximate date when you are going to add this feature? Fixed header/footer really needed for mobile app prototypes...

does anyone know if there is any alternative?

The ability to group a row of assets and scroll horizontally in a prototype.
ie: a horizontal scrolling row.

not very smart to discontinue Muse and force us to use XD and it doesn't have a simple drop down menu Adobe shame on you

Please add similar features to Invision Studio as far as:
- making interactive scrollable sections and prototypes
- add animations and add transitions to elements and artboards
- add tap, double tap, long press, a timer as a trigger for these animations
- responsive prototypes
- basically, copy invision studio! -

Made a quick research .. It seems that Sketch from Invision does that..

ALMOST 2 YEARS!!! This is a joke???? Why do you ask for our opinion and don't talk to us ?? Is this way do you make the community?

But seriously... Almost 2 YEARS for this feature?!? This is absolutely necessary to creating prototypes that can wow product owners. Can we please get an update on when this will be available?

Is this request for a vertical scroll bar to scroll the whole document page in Prototype mode? Or is this a request for a scrollable area within a page design? I feel like the former is something that is more pressing and a scrollable area within the page would be next in line. To send a prototype to a client and have to explain they need to use a track pad or touch screen with two fingers to swipe through the page is not very intuitive or professional. There's no indication that there is more to scroll through other than what's above the fold.

Scrollable section
Its all we ever wanted
Why must we still wait? -

I'm unable to prototype when pages are of varying lengths, as it's dependent on the individual page content. They're different from defined scrolling areas. Having a fixed artboard length doesn't work. Do you have guidance on this issue?

Yes, I agree with this one.
I would like to make certain elements scroll or transition leaving the other elements stationary. -

I want to vertically and horizontally scroll elements within an artboard.

Not sure if this has already been mentioned but horizontal scroll (for carousels etc.) would also be important as part of this
