Scrollable Area (not scrolling whole artboard)
Define a scrollable area within an artboard
This provides real-world app use cases, such as a table, slideshow, or iOS dropdown lists.
Hi everyone,
I’m excited to announce that with XD 30 we’ve added support for Scroll Groups. Try it out and please let us know your feedback.

Would love to see the ability to "Pin" or "Fix" elements or groups so that they don't scroll (everything else scrolls normally underneath it)
So, for example, I have my Header or Side Bar as a group or symbol, I can do something similar to "lock" today, but "pin" so it doesn't scroll.
I think this can be merged with:

Would be nice to be able to let content overflow inside a layout (for instance mobile) So many advantages to this. I could for instance
demo a mobile layout with an actual mobile image around it, like in Sketch -

I would like to leave some objects lined up on the artboard during scrolling, headers and tabbars, for example. Today everything move together.

i am trying to create a grid of pictures ( not quite a slideshow but in that ilk) I could not find any way to do it in the help files or the tutorial. I followed the sample but could not repllicate it, a complication was that my selection of slides did not fill the grid.

This allegedly started over a year ago. Please just let us know what is happening on this one. Is it proving difficult to implement? Did the feature work stop?

This is definitely an important feature to have. At the basic level one needs to be able to scroll stuff like lists inside a page. Going forward you might even want to play extra animations when scrolling..

wow, everytime i search google for how to do something in XD all i ever get is these forusm asking for it.
COME ON ADOBE!
how can things like guidelines, rulers, replace object, scroll groups for prototyping not be standard features?
Using XD is currently like going back to your favourite software...from 1986.

No vertical scroll, nor horizontal.
Hello Adobe how many millions of dollars you need all you users to pay to get STANDARD features??

Any news on this when will be finished?

Like many people are saying here already, XD cannot be considered a viable tool without support for scrolling areas.
