Scrollable Area (not scrolling whole artboard)
Define a scrollable area within an artboard
This provides real-world app use cases, such as a table, slideshow, or iOS dropdown lists.
Hi everyone,
I’m excited to announce that with XD 30 we’ve added support for Scroll Groups. Try it out and please let us know your feedback.

@joan_lafferty do you have any idea regarding the release date of the next update and the scroll function in this version? I would love to scroll in my website preview.

Any update with this... this feature is key to not been able to present to clients, managed to knock up designs super fast but how this wasn't built in for first beta?

When creating modals/dialogs or areas with listed content it is very difficult to show scrolling functionality. Allow definable shapes that can contain scrolling data/content.

@joan Scrollable containers has over 2,300 votes and is by far the most requested feature. It's also what's keeping me from investing more than one hour to work with Xd because without scrolling areas, prototyping mobile apps is just a non-starter.
Any update on when this capability will be available for beta testing? The most recent update was somewhat underwhelming so I'm hoping sooner rather than later?

Scrollable area is essential to showing off a somewhat basic prototype so that your nav isn't scrolling up and down. Please, please make this a priority for the next release :)

XD really needs to have scrollable containers... a big thumbs up if you can get that added. I have a paid InVision account, along with Adobe CC, and I'm not having to pay Atomic in order to get scrollable container functionality in my admin dashboard prototypes. I'd much rather use XD. I'm nearly at the jumping off point with InVision too... XD has so much covered now, especially with SVG copy and paste from SketchApp (amazing)... the last sorely missed feature for me is scrollable containers.

Any progress on region scrolling feature? Anyway I feel like Adobe XD will be the top tool to create UI's =) Thanks for it!

@joan_lafferty - Scrolling containers is the only feature preventing me from using XD at the moment for a project. Is this coming soon(ish)? Perhaps the next release? Delight us please :)

This should be enabled when we allow for scrollable groups/objects.

This is part of the plan when we allow for scrollable objects.

it'd be great if images/groups could be fixed in the background so other objects would scroll over it when presenting a webside idea !
' parallex scrolling ' !

Our use case: I have two areas in one screen one is user's own contacts, and another is the team members. Two of those areas must scroll independently. Hope this can be done soon.

Seems to be similar to this feature: Sticky (Fixed) elements in scrolling artboards (header, nav bar, etc.)

This is definite must. Content needs to be able to scroll behind banners and footers that remain in place.

I'm working a lot with conversational interfaces - looking forward to be able to let a conversation scroll down as chats progress, or have support for horizontal scrolling to integrate swiping through different rich content cards.
