  1. When designing i like to keep to the guidelines eg material design. They have some already available icons that they provide to the design community for free.
So what i currently do is i have to go to material design website download the icon to my local folder in whichever format i need - svg, png - then drop them in xd.

If i can have an inbuilt functionality to search and use the icons on material design or for iOS that would save me time and hard disk space.

  2. Hey guys,

This is an easy one. I don't love having to both select the Artboard that I'm looking at AND hit cmd-3 to zoom to its entirety, that's something I need to do very frequently (so that I can then zoom quickly to a specific area, or just view the totality of the board), so 2-3 steps feels unnecessary when it could be replaced with just one:

cmd-4 = Zoom to Current Artboard

"Current" in this case would refer either to the board containing your selection or the one that appears most in your viewport.

  3. It would be nice to be able to choose which GPU to use (on a Mac, Intel Iris Pro Graphics or AMD Radeon Pro) in order to save battery life when performance is not necessary.

  5. As many designers will compare AdobeXD features with Sketch, and many Sketch Library use RSS feed to keep update their own librairies with users. I think it's a mandatory for BIG adoption by designers and companies to support RSS feeds like Sketch do.

    Take a look :

As well as hosting your Libraries on Sketch Cloud, you can also host your Library file on any online server, publish an RSS that points to it, and have Sketch subscribe to the RSS to get updates when the Library is updated. To do that, just use a link in this form: sketch://add-library?url=URLEncodedPathToRSS

  6. It would be great to define font families that will be used in a project by adding them to the artboard property panel.
    This would help to
    - limit numbers of font used in a webdesign
    - change the font of a whole project

    - maintain character styles easyly
    - avoid to miss some font replacement

  7. The highlights of elements in use on a page only appear while hovering an element (a font, a color, ...)
It would be a great help to see highlighted elements while scrolling the whole page.
Maybe by adding a checkbox in front of the element (see jpg attached)

  8. When I have a component like a card with a button in it (button is a nested component) and I drag a different button in to swap it out, the card component should update the original button name with the new name in the layers panel.

  9. You can currently define the restraints for objects within a group for responsive resize when it's set to manual mode.

It would be great to be able to set points in a path as well. Instead it sets the restraint for the entire path.

My main use case is creating a set of reusable components I can use for flow diagrams that resize w/o getting all wonky-looking. See attached gif.

  10. When viewing a mobile device prototype through a browser, it should already display information such as battery, time, Wi-Fi, or information on that particular mobile device model that the person has determined. This information is currently entered manually and ends up topping up a time of work that could be used for other things. I believe this would make it easier for the customer to see.

  11. Say we have Artboards A, B, and C respectively whereby;
    - Artboard A has a TAP TRIGGER which auto-animates to Artboard B; and
    - Artboard B has a TIMED TRIGGER which auto-animates to Artboard C

    Feature Request:
    - If Artboard C has a TAP TRIGGER that invokes PREVIOUS ARTBOARD action, it should go back to Artboard A and not to Artboard B.

    Similarly:
    We may have Artboards A, B1, B2, ...B(n), and C respectively whereby;
    - Artboard A has a TAP TRIGGER which auto-animates to Artboard B; and
    - Artboard B through to Artboard B(n) has a TIMED TRIGGER which…

  12. Currently we can only choose Link Assets from Adobe Creative Cloud. It would be very useful to connect to other cloud services such as DropBox and OneDrive.

  13. I created an artboard of 1920 width. but when i preview it shows a black background. Same goes for when I share it in web. But instead there is white background.
It will be great to eliminate the background. Because it is impacting design decisions. also clients dont understand the concept & ask for recreation.

  14. Web review URLs for active overlays. For example, you have a screen with an overlay of an dialog box and wanted to link directly to it.

  15. When selecting multiple elements, show the number of select groups, and/or elements that are selected.

This helps when dealing with too much content, and you really need to know how much elements you have, so you can align them correctly or space them around with the right spacing.

  17. It would be nice to have a settings panel where I could choose whether 'Send to Back' sent objects to the very back or just to the most recent locked layer. Still, I almost always find myself creating large background images that I want to lock in place, and then sending objects behind them, and then having to pull them back forward by one.

Maybe I'm the only one who does this, or maybe it's not a very realistic request. Still, thought I'd put it into the ether just in case.

  18. It would be great to have a shortcut with which I can remove the formatting on text. If I have a text which is bold, green and 48pt, upon selecting it and pressing the shortcut, it should return the text to default appearance- ie. black color, regular weight and default font size.

  19. Allow prototyping wires to connect to artboards in different documents. The web prototype would let users navigate seamlessly between pages that are sourced from multiple documents.

When the designs for an interface are too massive to live in a single document, we break them up so each section is in its own document (ex: a product with ~150 various screens). However, all the docs are still part of a single product, and need to be wired together for a cohesive prototype.

I'd like an option in prototyping mode to connect a wire to another document.

  20. Please make it so that the style of the text you have selected highlights the style used in the left hand styles column.

ALSO please give us the option to set responsive sizes for the text styles. In other words the style sniffs the page width and selected the break point from within the style.

    THANKS
