Functional Requirement Documentation
The ability to define functional requirements for the application within XD and tag these cards or user stories to artboards/groups/individual elements.
This helps with traceability/transparency for larger teams or teams of teams when delivering using tools such as JIRA and helps to keep XD as a living design document for the application.

Plan View similar to Adobe Muse to create sitemaps
XD should have a "Plan" view similar to Adobe Muse that shows the pages in sitemap form. This would allow users to layout the page structure/hierarchy in a sitemap and easily rearrange the structure as needed. Users could then switch back to Design view to work on the wireframes of each page or Prototype view just as they do now.
Currently, I need to use a different application like Balsamiq or Omnigraffle to create my sitemaps and then I need to create wireframes in XD. It would be great if I could do both in XD.

Multiple color palettes
Create custom color pallets and be able to have more than one loaded at a time. Be able to customize names of colors, so we can patch developer terms, like 'Primary Color'. Then, be able to change that color and have it change everywhere. Also, be able to delete a color and if you use that color in your document, you can choose a color to replace it with (just like InDesign).

[Windows] Let the eyedropper work on the whole screen
I would like to be able to pick colors from another window (e.g. I have specs opened in my web browser).
20 votesAs an update on this, this is a limitation of the UWP platform. I’m keeping this open in case Windows decides to update their security platform to allow selecting outside of the window.

Locate & Open Prototypes in Creative Cloud Mobile App
Actually, it would be nice to have access to all the prototypes through the CC mobile app.
Now, when I'm on smartphone you have to go to the assets.adobe.com and find them there. But assets.adobe.com is not user friendly on mobile.

Assign artboard to a device for preview
It would be great if I could give a artboard a device that is connected, so I can preview iPhone artboards on my connected iPhone, same for my iPad and so on. That would work pretty well with multiple device setups.

Most recently used fonts
I'd like the possibility of grouping together fonts I use.
Most of the fonts that XD comes with are junk, never to be really used.
There's no way for fonts I really DO use to stand out in the font selection panel.
eg:My hi-fidelity UI fonts KIT, my wireframing fonts, Serif/Sans Serif, etc.

Detailed Release Notes
Whilst you guys do a great job discussing the major features in each Preview release, I'd really like to see detailed release notes that cover all of the fixes, tweaks and changes. For example, today, through trial, I found that you could edit individual character colours, which was a much requested feature here. However, there was no mention in your blog post. I think it's super important that every detail of a release is made public, so that we can give feedback, try new things and genuinely feel more involved.
As ever, Sketch do this really well: https://www.sketchapp.com/whats-new/ -- but just a text list is fine.
From your perspective, there's a couple of reasons to do this:
Improves communication flow between creators and users.
Reduces duplicity in bug reports and features requests.
Gives early adopters full disclosure on update progress.
Increases likelihood of bugs being found (because more people will know about the smaller changes)
Reduces the likelihood of people complaining about 'small' updates (there's only 4 new things this month etc, when in reality there are possibly dozens of small changes.
I won't ramble further, but for me this is essential in helping the community develop XD with you.
Thanks, and keep up the good work.

Quickly create designs based on UI components from frameworks like Bootstrap/Angular
I think it would be useful for Web Devs if this included some sort of mode for working with elements from frameworks such as Bootstrap, Angular Material e.t.c. as this would be a great addition and make it way quicker to mock stuff up if your using a framework

Make shortcut hotkeys for text align (left, center, right)
There should be keyboard hotkey shortcuts to quickly edit the text alignment.
SHIFT+ OPTION + L (Used to pull up my CC Library.. not as important.)
SHIFT+ OPTION + R (Used to reload my plugins... not as important )
SHIFT+ OPTION + C (NOT IN USE... maybe use this shortcut and have the 3 options cycle each time you hit it, left, center, right.)19 votes -
Update multiple publish links at the same time
As a Designer I want to create links that will not change during the project for iOS, Web and Android.
I want to be able to update all (iOS, Web, Android) in one click.
I want to be able to generate a single link for both prototype and specs; all should be updated in one click. In such case, the links should not be changed but stay the same.
Description
Why is this valuable to you?
Because when designing both iOS and Android applications from one XD file I cannot manage/update 2 spec links at the same time, and have to re-generate one of the 2 links when wanting to publish updates. If possible, an image or movie to help us understand what you’re talking about

Hide "Fixed position" layers to see design specs of other layers beneath them
Layers that have been set to "Fix position when scrolling" often overlap over other key layers and block the inspection of the layers underneath.
For example, if you have a mobile screen with a bottom fixed menu then this layer will need to be positioned on top of the 0-viewport. This results in any other layers in body below this bottom tab layer becoming invisible in design and design specs mode. And the developer cannot see any of their details.
So a way to hide these layers in the design specs mode will be of great help.

Support Progressive JPGs in design specs assets
Assets can already be downloaded from design specs, as per:
https://helpx.adobe.com/xd/help/design-specs-for-developers.html#Extractassetsfordesignspecs
...but progressive JPG is not a supported format for bitmaps. Can we get this feature?19 votes -
Hide Scrollbar on mobile prototype on Windows
When previewing a Prototype, hide or use thin, unobtrusive "mobile" scroll bar on Mobile-specified artboards. The standard browser scrollbar is too wide - which interferes with touchpoints and is not representative of a true mobile experience.

Shadows get clipped in overlays
Fantastic features: Overlays, and Fixed elements
Here are a few improvements I'd like to see.- Overlays support Fixed headers and Footers, scrolling content.... But now the drop shadows can't be used on the elements because they get cut off. Allow the overlay to be shadowed, or allow the shadows to bleed out from the overlay contents.

- Scroll Underlying content: I'd like to have a left panel come sliding in, and still be able to scroll the underlying page. Example: Toolbar slides in, scroll the content of the page.19 votesFor scrolling the base artboard, please upvote this story: https://adobexd.uservoice.com/forums/353007/suggestions/34676035

Background Blur Noise
Please add a noise slider to the background blur tool. This will help mimic the acrylic noise in the Fluent Design System.

Transparent images in mask with background color
Sketch does this quite easily, and I think it has to be part of Adobe XD:
Essentially, when you mask an image, you should be able to make the image transparent in the mask while whatever shape is masking the image can keep it's color. This makes it super quick/easy to have the effect of images overlaying on a darker color.

Move/dock Symbols and Layers panel to the right side
Allow palettes to be moved to one side of the screen.
The default location of palettes force you to constantly move from far left to far right of a large monitor - it's actually quite painful when you're used to having all palettes/tools on one side and your artwork on the other.
