Ensure component states are supported by XD development API
I'm using a platform, called Zeroheight, to create my company design system. It has a plugin that integrates with Adobe XD.
I'm trying to display, on my design system, all the components states and be able to interact with them on the platform.
I was informed by the support team of zeroheight that the adobe XD API doesn't support states and for that reason, they can't have access to components states.This would really add value to my work! Thanks.

Support secondary hover states for multiple menu depths
I noticed I cannot put a Hover-Interaction on a component to trigger an overlay. When I use Hover, it only allows switching between states. And when I set a new Element and try to let it trigger an Overlay, the Option "Hover" is not even given in the Interaction-Menü.
Is this a bug or a non-improvement?
26 votesI see that some of the people who have responded are looking for hovers for elements, which is already supported via hover states: https://twitter.com/elainecchao/status/1194695173499830273?s=20 This specific request seems to be focused on supporting secondary navigation where there might be overlapping edges. I’ll keep this open for the latter use case.

Multi select in Searched / Filtered Layer List
It is currently not possible to Shift-Select multiple items once the layer list is filtered or searched.
It would be very helpful to have this feature as only relevant items are left and you probably want to select them all

Ability to Organize Cloud Documents by Favorites/Priority
I can never find the Cloud document I need. Last modifies is great but sometimes I need a file I worked on a month ago. Please allow easier organization of files by allowing to star favorites, like Dropbox, or some other way to keep important files at the top

Push updates from instance to main components
"Save to Master Component" and/or "Push/Save as Master Component", so that any changes you've made to a component can be put into the master.

Main component versioning
A way to review all edits/changes made to a master component. For instance, a team is sharing a Design System and wants to see all the changes made to a component should they need to revert back and see who on their team made the change.

Keep objects pinned to center when resizing an artboard from the center
When option-dragging an artboard handle, all of the elements on the artboard remain left-justified. I would expect this function to keep all elements centered on the board. I believe this is how it used to function.

Exclude overlay artboard from arrow navigation on shared prototype
Able to remove an artboard from the prototype arrow navigation
I understand how the upload works, but i have a project where it would be nice to decide wich artboard can be accessible using arrows from the prototype.
My prototype start with a Dashboard, on the side menu (main nav), when you click a button, i want to show how the submenu will appear and its conent.
So i decided to make an artboard for the side menu only and wire my button with the submenu artboard and incrustate it in my dashboard artboard. Everything goes smooth and works exactly…

Line height adjust height of point text-box
When you adjust the line height it should make the text box around the text adjust vertically. Right now when the "point-text" box type is selected it does not.

Drop caps / style initial character in paragraph
It would be great to be able to incorporate some of InDesign's character/paragraph styles into designs. Things like drop caps or paragraph rules would be a great addition to enable more editorial style designs.

Installation language should match Creative Cloud Settings
Please can you modify the installation process (at the very least through Adobe CC) such that the program installs the software to match your Creative Cloud settings and NOT your operating system settings.
Many manufacturers (Dell, HP, Acer) lock the OS language to stop companies buying laptops cheap in Thailand and using them in the US, for example.
The result is that many of us work (especially in Europe) work on a computer in the local language but work IN our native language;
I work in France but not IN FRENCH.

Show/edit Gradient stop position as precise number
The gradient fill, in it's current form, does not show what position (from 0 to 1, or 0 to 100) the stop is located, like in other popular adobe applications such as Illustrator and Photoshop. This means that if I want the accurate position for each stop I have to export it to SVG and open it in Illustrator. This makes it really hard to make gradients with a middle fade accurately, and since there is no way to actually save the gradient as a swatch, you're stuck eyeballing it.

Mini navigator view - Pan & tap to zoom window in/out
Since the art boards can be very very large having a mini pan and tap to zoom in / out window possibly on the right bottom side to navigate elegantly through the entire art board space would be convenient I believe.
as of now I have to use the little hand and move around on the art boards themselves in combination with the zoom out function.

Some SVG gradients are missing
SVG gradients are not rendered correctly when importing this image in AdobeXD.
See the reference file with embedded bitmaps to see how it is rendered compared to how it should be rendered.26 votesSVG gradients that rely on `gradient-transform` don’t import well yet. Other gradients, including most gradients created in AI, should import just fine already.

Hold spacebar to move shape while drawing it
While drawing a shape, you should be able to hold the spacebar to adjust its position. I use this shortcut all the time in Photoshop and Sketch.

Spell check all text areas across all artboards
While the current spellcheck is great when you are typing, there's currently no way of running spellcheck across all your artboards in a project.
I end up copying and pasting a lot of text into a design when I'm working but there's no guarantee that the spelling and grammar is correct. Currently, I would have to go through each text area individually.
It would be fantastic if this improvement could be considered.

Integration with Framer X
Would be great if XD screens could be imported into Framer X similar to Sketch. It’s the only thing that makes me still debate using Sketch instead of XD!

Copy Component States
A newbie here. There might be a way to do this without overcomplicating like i might have done. So:
I was building a table where i have the family of a product on one row for example "Wood" and it's children, for example "birch wood", "pine", etc.and to separate the "Parent Row" ( please see photo 1 ) which is a dropdown, from the "Child Row" ( please see photo 2 ) i had to create a new component and then build up the states again.
