"L" shaped elements cover and prevent the selection and identification/specs of everything below them.
Please look at this XD "Design Specs" file:
https://xd.adobe.com/spec/37ccb941-8fd4-4a7f-6223-499948dc3fcb-41fd/The "L" shaped elements (colored RED and FUCHSIA in the file) cover and prevent the selection of and identification of the specs, of everything below them. Even though these "L" shaped elements are not closed shapes they cover everything below them (BTW, it's the same when there is a surrounding border that is above everything else, layer wise).
Please, this must be corrected.
The attached file was "Exported" to PDF.

Smooth anti-aliased font
The fonts in XD are so crisp on windows. I kinda like lost my soul of using it there compared to figma.

Export Icon used two different ways without a label
Make a new icon for "batch export". The same icon is used for a different part if the interface to "open in browser". One icon should never be used to convey two different meanings unless they are also labeled.

Apply global color to selected element with keyboard shortcut
When I have an element selected, it would be great to apply one of my global colors to it with a keyboard shortcut. XD could give all my global colors a number from top to bottom and then I could reference it with ⌘⇧1 , ⌘⇧2 ... (just an example). In that case I can sort my global colors in the order I use them most and the shortcut automatically references the respective color. Optionally pressing ⌥ could change the border color.
This would save me a lot of mouse movement and time.
Thanks

Separate transform tool from selection tool
Frequently, when I'm just trying to drag and drop a small object, I end up accidentally resizing or transforming it. For example, notice in the attached file how small my target is if I just want to drag and drop. If SELECT were a different tool from RESIZE/TRANSFORM (like in Adobe Animate) this problem would be solved. The direct manipulation points are great when I need them, but get in the way when I don't.

Ctrl+Shift to activate hand tool
Balsamiq mockups uses the ctrl +scroll keyboard shortcut to zoom in and out. Then by simply adding Shift to that, I can click and drag my canvas around. So Ctrl+Shift+click does the same thing as Spacebar. Why is this useful? I don't need to move my hand from the Ctrl Key over to the spacebar to move around! Adobe XD feels clunkier because it's missing this AWESOME keyboard shortcut. If you don't believe me, try out Balsamiq mockups and tell me that isn't easier.

(Command + Scroll) Push Away vs Pull Toward, in Design Tab
Scroll direction isn't natural (see Mac OS Gestures x Google Maps ixd). If I hit Command and scroll up, the art board pulls toward me on screen. It should push away from me as I scroll up. Considering we're all interaction designers here, likely designing interactive experiences, this seemed like something you'd want to address in the XD experience or at least allow as a preference.

Repeat Grid spread over multiple sheets-allow pieces to auto seat into layers - then reselect all based on similar features or symbol
Repeat Grid should allow you to spread over multiple sheets. Then "undo-grid" seats each pieces into a proper layer on each sheet.
Once ungrouped and in separate layers, you should be able to reselect all shapes/groups based on similar features or symbol.
XD would keep track of the grouping/ungrouping/Grid/Ungroup Grid actions and be able to reselect all or some (manually) NOT using symbols.
I got lost in initially thinking this Grid tool was to spread from one sheet over many sheets versus using a symbol which doesn't give the same design behaviors as the grid tool.

Search icon is the zoom icon
Hello Guys,
I am a visual designer and exploring adobe Xd suddenly one thing noticed my eye icon has been used for zoom in/out functionality actually use for search but adobe XD is using for zoom in/out. I was little bit confused so I chose to test this some of UX designer and visual design or normal people they got his as search icon not for Zoom in/out.
For research prospective I checked this in photoshop CC so I found zoom icon little bit different form Adobe SD and in photoshop top left corner presenting the both zoom in and zoom out icon But generally I used short cut for this and for search you are using for search icon with different orientation which is different form what we has been using since years. This icon is contradicting with Mac OS I am attaching screenshot.
Senario 1:
I used to track pad for zoom in/out
Senario 2:
I used shotcut ctrl+ or - for same thing windows
I am attaching screen shot . Feel free to discuss if you have query or concern
Design language must be similar other wise it kind of learning curve or invoke any confusion
Feel free to discuss if you have any query or concern.

Extract strings to a language file like *.po file.
We want it to be easy to create a *.po language file directly from XD for developer. So it can be easily imported into code and be ready for translation tools.
At the moment there is a possibility to get pdf for text but it is splittet in many pdf files. We need one pdf file to be able to extract text from that file.1 vote -
Keyboard shortcut to discard when saving Cmd+D on MacOS
It's common in all other Adobe and MacOS products to have Cmd+D to discard saving the document when closing it. So I can quickly hit Cmd+W and Cmd+D to close document without saving changes instead of working with both keyboard and a mouse.

Associate asset display type (grid, list) with the document
It would be nice to be able to memorize the type of display of the assets by document: I often use the "grid" type and each time I open my document I have to switch.

Mark / Label Key Pages (Artboards)
When I create a project, I usually get a lot of arboards, and get loads of small varioations / overlays - so when I want for example print all, or export all to a PDF I will get LOADS of pages which I manually have to remove.. In some projects I also have the Mobile Layout too.
So I would like to be able to Mark / Label / Flag / Group for some key artboards (like: Mobile 1, 2, 3, 4... or Desktop 1, 2, 3, 4... or maybe just mark as Key Artboard)
So that when I then Press print or Export I can now choose to only use the Key Artboards. This really makes it quicker to share the project with the teams that doesnt have access to the XD file.
Thanks

Transition popup's destination should show artboards in Z-order
At present, the list of Destinations within the prototype settings popup (see attached) is shown arbitrarily, seemingly having no sort order at all. For a document with more than a few Artboards, this makes trying to find the one you want really hard.
The expected behaviour from my perspective is that the list of Destinations just follows the existing ordering of Artboards in the Layers panel. This way, a designer can order things as they like and then see the same order shown there.
This is using Adobe XD 13.0.12.14 (latest version at time of writing).

Layout grid should work like InDesign columns
The grid system should work and look just like the columns in InDesign, the grid is a common thing for all graphic designers and making them look different across apps makes it all feel non cohesive.

Fixed-zoom preview window
It could be great to have a feature where i can open a small window that shows a highlighted part of the artboard in 100% zoom, and then in my actual workflow i can zoom into 6400%.
This way i can make very small changes to something like icons, on a pixel level, without having to zoom in and out to preview the changes.
