Paste and import images into pasteboard instead of Artboard
From my understanding a pasteboard collection contains any object created in the gray area outside any artboard. If that's the case then why can't I importan an image directly into the pasteboard and not the artboard itself? As far as what this would be used for, it could be used for stensil or an example of what you want to replicate as a set of arboards. Say you had a few hand-sketches, you scanned it and imported into XD and now you want to start building a hihger-fidelity wires.
Right now the moment I paste something or import something into XD, the image automatically attaches to the closest artboard.
Imported image automatically added to artboard instead of pasteboard.

1. Yes, it could be posted in an are out of view, and then zoomed in on that are.
2. Regardless, as soon as it was pasted, in the left navigation column, under layers, if you one would click on pasteboard, I would see all of the items pated into it, including this latest image, with some auto-generated name.

Great; thanks for addressing problem without offering any solution, or hinting on one. What you suggest is a hack, that is incredibly cumbersome given the amount of real estate I'm I'm using on the screen.
