Reposition the cookie banner on shared links
When a client views links that I send them, they often assume there's just 1 page of artwork because they can't see any navigation controls at the bottom.
The controls are hidden by the cookie acceptance banner. So I think it would be worth repositioning that banner so it doesn't overlap any important elements.
I think part of the problem is that it's only UK or European users who see the cookie warning thanks to GDPR legislation. Who's betting they test the software in the US?!
From the warning message it seems the cookies are just for Adobe ad tracking - nothing functional. So I think we should be able to turn them off. I pay for Creative Cloud - why can't I control something like this?
My use is to embed multiple short XD presentations for an online training course. This warning makes the product unusable for this as each presentation will have a separate cookie warning. If a user reloaded the page they'd have to accept them all again! That's surely something that can be fixed?
Hello. Every time I load the page, the Cookies banner comes back again (even though I save the Cookies settings). We have done 3 tutorials on Adobe XD and the visitor can watch them all. If he has the banner three times, that won't be functional at all...
Do you have a solution please?
Agreed. As of October 2020, the cookies banner is massive and covers the bottom of the prototype that is being shared/tested. Every user I tested with didn't realize what it was and it took them multiple minutes in some cases to realize it was asking about cookies, and to close it.
It's almost as if you've never tested your own product with everyday users... No other website's cookies banner is this massive and obstructive. Nor do they call it something as confusing as "Make it Your Own". Users don't know what that means. Just call it "Accept Cookies?" like every other website. There are conventions for a reason.
