Relative values for line height (percentage, %)

At the moment text leading is made in the same way as in InDesign, its auto or set in px. As we make prototypes for web, text leading could be set the same way as in CSS: in % or just as value: e.g. 1.5. At the moment in XD if you set text leading. for example 13px, all character styles used in text frame have it set to this value.

I can't believe more people have not complained about this. Line height should be able to be specified as a % (eg 120%) or Factor (eg 1.2). Not just an absolute px (eg 12px). Just like the web!

Or am I missing something in XD?

It would be much easier and specific the line height between text in percentages, it helps communicating with a developer too.

I want to be able to specify an "inherit" value.

Correct, from a web dev point of view, the system XD uses at the moment has no point.
On the top of that, the fact that we need to enter the line-height every time we change the font-size makes it also painful to experiment with font sizes in our designs.

I have two main issues with line spacing:

    1. I cannot mix line spacings within the same textbox. Why?
    2. I can only use point units for line spacing. This means when I change my font size, I must also update the line spacing manually.

Please allow us to enter PERCENTAGES in the line height box and also let us mix different line heights in the same text box.
