Tile Background Images
There needs to be an option, on Prototype mode, to "tile" background images.
For example: this Adobe XD web page has a background image (or DIV) that repeats on the x-axis no matter how wide the browser window is (dark gray, horizontal top-bar).
That feature would make the prototypes look as cloase as possible to what a web page would actually look in the wild.
Thank you!

Sure, a background-repeat CSS property like feature would be essential.
As a workaround I use the Repeat Grid function in XD, setting no internal gap but a proper tool that allows me to assign a background image to an object that would repeat automatically as I adjust the object would be a very welcome addition.

right now, I use the grid elements to make grid backgrounds from images, I hope they can put this on div background soon.

This feature is a must. I think anything possible in CSS should also be possible in XD.

Please add a background pattern fill, using the same attributes as css : repeat-x, repeat-y, center, ...

You could achieve this effect by using the Repeat Grid feature with zero space for margins.

To me it doesn't look like anything new, ripoff, difficult to explain - good old repeat background. Call it pattern if you like more. It doesn't need to be adjustable like in CSS, just actual image size - repeat. Plain. Simple.

This one is kinda rip off from Invision app but it would be handy in XD too.. option to enable automatic background repeating, it would just repeat the edge pixels of the design so when viewing the prototype on different screen sizes the background fills up the - backgound. Hard to explain but very handy for Website prototyping.
