Import custom 3D objects
Hello,
I just returned from Adobe Max and loved learning about XD. I work for Le Creuset and would love the ability to be able to sketch our product and a 3D model be created in XD. I know this was part of Sneaks. Or at least be able to upload our 3D models that we currently have in other applications to be able to place new designs on our product in XD. Is that a possibility? If so, what format do they have to be in? Thank you, Nicole

I've been making custom 3D models for several years here: https://hum3d.com/custom-3d/
I'd like to try using Adobe XD for these tasks. It seems to me that it will allow me to make more complex 3D models, as Adobe XD has a very user-friendly interface and I feel very comfortable working in it. -

Would definitely like this feature added. We would be able to prototype things in XD for the new Metaverse.

It will be definitely helpful if we could have this function as I am dealing with VR & AR prototyping

Hi Adobe XD Team, thanks a lot for your work.
I'd like to ask you If it'd be possible to Import 3D OBJs or FBXs inside a XD Prototype, with some gizmos to maybe Auto animate their scale / rotation / position... It'd be nice and could really open the fields to new designs.
Maybe this could be done by having something else than a OBJ, maybe a sequence of rendered PNGs of the model ?
here's an example of what could be done ?
Thanks. -

Would be great for prototyping games as well!

It would be incredible if we could import .obj or .c4d files into XD, and also hand off its code in a simplistic way. I'm confident it would change A LOT of things in the design world.

I'd like to be able to import 3D shapes into Adobe XD and scale them without losing resolution. There are several approaches:
1) Import a 3D file, and upon import, select the dimensions and resolution desired. The resulting object will be a bitmap image.
2) Import a 3D file, and the resulting object will be a vector shape.
3) Copy a 3D object in a 3D tool (Sketchup, Dimensions..), and paste it in XD. Upon paste, you can choose what the resulting object will be (see 1 and 2 above).

I would like it if XD can read, Import and use 3D Objects, the object can be controlled individually to be viewed from any angle, and works with animate when viewed from another angle in another artboard. it would make creating interfaces for games and many other things easier and fun.

Ability to add 3D models and scenes to an artboard with full interactivity for both web and mobile (pan/zoom/rotate).
Prototyping concepts that include 3D interactivity is difficult.
