Find Missing Font
When you open a document and it says a font is missing, but tracking down that missing font can be a nightmare.
Often this can occur when moving from one system to another (home to work for example), so doing a find and replace would be very helpful, but just finding the "issue" would be invaluable, because sometimes a type box may not be readily visible to even find it to correct.
We’ve improved this in the March release! If you don’t see an update, select the … icon in the Creative Cloud desktop app and select “Check for App Updates.” If you have further feedback on this feature, please feel free to file a new ticket!
We often get an alert that fonts are missing when they are clearly installed. Activating and deactivating random fonts (not even the ones you are using) sometimes helps. But not always.

great that you improved this in the March release, but how do we use this feature? There are no details about how to track down where a missing font is being used in a file?
I cant use the Roboto condensed bold italic font. Please help me to fix it

Here is another workaround: install and use the Selection plugin from Paolo Biagini -- https://www.paolobiagini.com/portfolio/plugins-for-adobe-xd.html

Glad to see this issue is in the backlog. In the meantime, if you find one instance of the offending font, you can right-click and add it to the Character Styles. Then, go the Assets panel, R-click on the offending Character Style and choose Edit, etc -- this will replace the font in all the instances of that exact style. I hope this technique saves you a little time.
A nightmare is not enough to describe this missing feature. Have lost three hours of my life and still have three missing fonts. I’ve needed to create a duplicate of my xd file for each artboard (so about 60 files) remove all symbols, ungrouping all groups and going through element by element. Probably two more hours left. But please don’t fix this, add a new way to comment in the web preview instead!
Oh, how I'd love to up-vote this one a few dozen times over!
I think when you preview the design on XD Player mobile, all the fonts should be as paths. So there should be a versioning system. What i preview can be another document created on Cloud on which all the text objects are converted into paths. It shouldn't be converted into paths by designers but Adobe. Thanks :)
XD displays an annoying message about missing fonts without providing a tool to locate and replace one.

I Will try to make a plugin for this
The request is as succinct as it gets, this is needed badly!

Yes, please! I have actually a big problem with the Open Sans Semibold. A colleague used the font Open Sans SemiBold with a capital "B" and Adobe XD doesn't recognize that my "Semibold" is the same as his "SemiBold". So I have to change the font on dozens of artboards within countless groups. It's a nightmare!
A find and replace font feature would be a huge help! Thanks in advance!!!
This should be a high priority request. It's one of the fundamental problems that occur when you work cross-team across multiple platforms, and deal with documents created outside of your control, that might not have been built with best practices in mind.
Even simple things as having the same font one a Mac and PC can cause the "missing font" issue. Recently we had to re-install some of our client fonts as TTF (True Type Font) instead of OTF (Open Type Font) just to be able to preview the prototypes on the XD Mobile app (Mobile App doesn't show OTF fonts), however doing so not every font mapped correctly to the TTF version. And it was painstakingly time consuming going through dozens of art-boards to manually change a font.

Oh my god, THIS.
Moving from my iMac at home to my work laptop at Dell (Windows, obviously) is a nightmare after a weekend of work. I've always left some reference to the San Francisco font in a Mac-only naming convention and it can take me ages to locate.

Please, for the love of god, fix this ASAP.
Currently collaborating with 2 other designers on a massive 50+ page project and we have a font called "Semibold" and someone's version of the font is called "SemiBold". Now I have to export the entire project but a third of the pages aren't showing the proper font and I have no quick way to find and replace it. Please use the same pink highlight as inDesign and Illustrator and have a "find and replace" option. It would save so much time.

Illustrator has this feature but I don't like it very much, cause in XD missing fonts is shown with the System Font by default (without highlight), but in Illustrator missing font is shown highlighted but sometimes with these characters: (cause the font is missing) and it's a little bit messy!!!
I think a "Resolve missing font" feature will suffice.

It would be great if missing fonts could be highlighted in the canvas for easy replacement or deletion.
Similar to the functionality for highlighting character styles and colors in the canvas (added in the april 2018 update).
(Not a high priority request)

One more example of the issue and why it can be so hard to correct.
Font missing is "Roboto Condensed" - When I click the box I know to be associated with that issue (Only place I used Roboto Condensed), it shows Condensed under the style section, with the font family as "Roboto". Looks fine.
However, on my mac, the font family is supposed to be "Roboto Condensed" and the style is "Regular".
So, at first glance, it looks fine, but in fact that's the issue. Nothing visually tells me something within the font settings, I just know I am not seeing it render correctly, but such subtle changes can be hard to verify in most instances.
