Apply gradient to border/stroke

When I import a SVG file with a gradient on the stroke, it becomes gray in XD. And there is no way that I can make the border/stroke with gradient color.

I feel it will be nice to apply gradient to the border so that I don't have to expand the stroke.

Being able to use gradients within the line/stroke options. THis allows 3d effects to be created.

Really too bad, things like this prevents my company to use XD as our design system tool.

Adding gradients by dragging like in illustrator will be valuable.

It would be very useful to be able to apply gradients to borders/strokes in the same way(s) you are able to do so with fills.

This is an extremely important feature because it would save a lot of time and prevent me from having to make a gradient stroke in Illustrator, then outline the stroke, and have to export it as a SVG and import to XD and hope everything lines ups.

It's painful to make it with rectangles and subtract because if I change size of the rectangle the thickness changes … and I have to adapt it every time …

When we want to edit any dashboard, we make an analytic path but we can't apply the gradient, on the other hand, we can apply the gradient on path or border in Sketch and Figma why not in Adobe XD.
