Color Management (set color profiles)
XD should be a color managed application.
I'm not sure what the full context of color management is within the UI/UX industry is, or if it's something that many pay attention to, or if it's just left un-managed.
Currently a vast majority of designers are using high gamut displays to design. Our final output will however differ greatly without some proper color management implemented. If color managment is implemented, we can at least visually soft proof our design and colors to specific devices (ie: New iOS devices that support P3 color gamut), or older sRGB devices.
At the same time sRGB images used won't expand to the display's high color gamut, making them look over saturated.
(Currently using Windows Beta Version: 0.6.8.6)

[solved] hello, i lived this, I feel I lose some of my hair in the process but I solved it, the problem is not with adobe xd is with chrome, I left adobe for figma (sorry adobe) to solve the issue and it kept happening, to finally see that is a chrome bug, all you have to do is disable hardware acceleration on chrome settings.
nevertheless this is a big issue for designers, as our users can see greatly different the design from what we intended.

Why doesn't adobe want me to be able to see the correct colors?
Only because of this problem i have to use a second low resolution display next to my new iMac ... -

Why is this not even in Review or backlog? Consider that Figma and Sketch runs with correct colour profile and XD not instead of focus on animations etc, personal for me this is not a hight priority, why this is not being fixed. not even mentioning other things that designers expect to see when they switch from sketch or Figma.
Im not surprise why people talk so much about Figma. -

I submitted web mockups using XD and was told the colors were much more desaturated than the selected color palettes. I initially hadn't noticed, but when holding up against the original palette I'm stunned. Why would the colors be this off? This is not an issue in Photoshop and cannot understand why Adobe set this up this way?

Xd appears to be properly aware of the color profile. This can be seen by the fact that Xd doesn't display an image with a custom profile embedded with RGB replaced with GBR in a psychedelic color.
However, it does not seem to recognize the monitor profile. I don't know why on earth they are implementing it this way.
Xd should at least implement a CMM equivalent to a web browser. The current implementation is completely incomprehensible. -

I can not understand why colors in Adobe illustrator, do NOT match adobe XD... It is off by 15-20%. I am on a imac. Is it the software or the hardware.. please clue me in. And yes of course I am using RGB in illustrator.

Will there ever be an option to switch between Display P3 and sRGB profiles? ***crying***

So you can only really use Adobe XD if you want to design for sRGB color profile and have a monitor that already has a 95-100% sRGB color profile setting by itself?

Yes, fix this please asap! There is no trouble shooting for this at all??

Pretty sure Adobe has no budget to include this, because everything that's not going to stockholders is likely already spend for a tablet version of adobe XD for the iPad kids.
Color management in a design application isn't really a priority.

This is really a big deal. My colour-shifts are significant and do not match my intentions, clients get the wrong idea. I cannot use this to proof. This is a DEAL BREAKER for any professional designer. Please remedy.
