Pen and touch support in windows 10
Currently it's not possible at all to work with Experience Design using touch or pen input on Windows 10. Please improve that.
Hi everyone,
With this release, we have enabled basic pen and touch support for XD on Windows as a companion to the mouse and keyboard.
You can find more info about the feature here:
https://theblog.adobe.com/february-update-adobe-xd/
We look forward to receiving your feedback.
Thanks,
Dan Tuhoarca

Practically nothing works;
All the tools doesn't respond (also tried with keyboard shortcuts)
I can see a change when I click to select each tool (they turn to blue) but the cursor does not change and the functions doesn't work or anything.I Can't select objects, can't pan/drag.
The menu does work (i.e. I can change from design to prototype, can click to play the preview (of the xd_tutorial) or change zoom by the dropdown on the top bar)
I can open a new doc with ctrl+n.... save with ctrl+s.
the artboards work and I can change properties in the panel.
Please advice.

@Stuart Knightley (Update your response please.)
It has been a year and basically the progress in this area is null. You are telling us, that at Adobe, you have that many software that recognize touch and pen but you are unable to borrow or learn from that code ?
It must be great to go to work and re-invent the wheel every day... -

I was really excited about this..... then I tried to download it and it said I was missing drivers. So I messaged Rufus Deuchler and he shared this page with me. I followed the link provided by the admin and it after a round about way it took me to me to my Creative Cloud App on my desktop.... guess what still not compatible with a Wacom Cintiq Companion 2 running Windows. It says I am missing a driver..... this is really disheartening. Please let me know what drivers I need.... as there is no direction to download anything. So I have no idea or clue what to download. Excited to get this running!

I have wacom intuos pro. I can navigate through the interface, but can't use the tablet on the artboard. It seems the pen events are not recognized by the Xd workspace.

As the scroll bars are not shown it is allmost impossible to scroll for touchpad users. My Notebook also has a touchscreen (Lenovo Yoga) and it is not possible to scroll or zoom by touchscreen.
The app is only usable with a real mouse at the moment.

Windows 10 Wacom Intous 5 and windows ink doesn't allow for canvas navigation, only works when windows ink is turned off in wacom preference. Really annoying because pressure sensitivity in Photoshop requires windows ink turned to be turned on making going back and fourth both programs cumbersome.

I have a Windows 10 Developer's Version, and the touch screen doesn't interact with the art boards at all. The ripples from my touch come up on the screen, but it doesn't select or do anything with the art boards. It does change tools. I first realized this when I couldn't pinch to zoom out (and vice versa), which I think would be easier to use than my trackpad. I'd also like to be able to move my finger across the screen and have the screen follow to let me move between art boards quicker and easier than with the trackpad.

Yes, It's the same problem with Tomas.

At least allow touch interaction, is faster with PowerPoint on touch than Adobe XD with clasic mouse

Great to see a demand for pen use on Windows. I live and die with my stylus now that both platforms are identical is time to add full functionality to the pen. I dont care about touch I want my fav tool to work with an awesome product like Xd.

while working on full touch support, maybe you can release something in the meantime to allow at least to select, zoom, and pan with our wacom tablets/pens. this is working for the tool palette and menu items, but just not in the workspace
just the most basic functionality, which may satisfy many of us for now. i'm not fully clear why this behavior which comes standard with any other program is not available.

As a Surface Pro user I am really looking forward to this :-)
Any update on how development is going? Or is there a 'fast ring' (like MS has) where I can test an alpha version for this to help you guys with this complicated task? -

Since my first try on XD in Windows 10 many things changed and became better! I am still waiting for full WACOM usability and layers, the possibility to lock elements which should not move and scrolling to the next panel. I hope this will follow soon. Thanks for asking and greetings from Germany!
