PDF Export - compression options to reduce file size
Exported PDF are too big. Please add compression options like InDesign.
As of XD version 26, exported PDF file size is down by up to 90%, while retaining the current quality level.
Thank you for all your feedback!
Sometimes we want to quickly send PDFs of simple mockups to our clients or place them in an INDD with annotations, however whenever it involved photos, these mock ups export as a 200-300MB PDF. It's way too large and even when we try the reduce size function in Acrobat it doesn't work.
I would be great if we could choose what file size to export the PDF as.
We also tried putting in JPGs / PNGs but they just turned out too blurry.

Same request here, please. Loving how quickly I can visualise a site concept but am restricted when it comes to sharing with clients due to PDF file sizes being too big!
Agree! Tried half an hour to reduce file size with adobe acrobat DC, not possible! Even when images a reduced to 20dpi and look really ugly, file size is still >20MB – and I have just 6 pages...

Can't you just use the way Illustrator and other programs do?
Even with optimised images XD still outputs massive PDFS! REALLY need to produce optimised PDFs as we are unable to email designs to clients and Tender opportunities specifically ask for PDFs to be emailed. At the moment because of this simple thing we are unable to use XD in our workflow.

I agree. Simple layout with four optimised images comes out at 4.3Mb and can't be reduced in Acrobat

Agreed. PDF Export should have options (as other CC apps)
• Compression (downsample images, text, and line art)
• Output (color, PDFX)
• Fonts (embed options)
• Security (password)

They are right....even with compressing this is a huge issue.
