Find and Replace - Text

It would be great to have a generic "find and replace" inside the edit menu like most text editors have. What would be even better is if you could select the find and replace function to use the current art board, or all art boards. This is super helpful if you're mocking up redundant content that has a slight name change between screens.

    As UX designer on enterprise apps, this is one of the features that would reduce how long it takes to update prototypes.

    This would be excellent to have. Mockups should be up-to-date with the word choices provided by marketing – and those are subject to change.

    Wow from the looks of this thread and how long it has been going, adobe doesn't listen or just doesn't care to add such simple feature that has cost me personally at least 10-15 hours over the course of 4 redesigns using XD. If this feature isn't added by the 1st of 2019, I'm out. On to sketch for our team..

    The moment when you realize there's neither find and replace text feature in XD nor it's curently possible to build a proper plugin for it…

    It would be terrific to be able to go and replace a color numberOn a whole design to see the effect. Search and replace would make this so easy.

    I agree! I have lost hours b/c there is no feature like this. It really helps to tailor demo information to your audience. Making dates current, changing names to include your audience, changing addresses to local areas, etc...these is what has a big impact in the presentation, but takes forever to do with XD. Please add this!!!!

    Adobe. This is a basic yet vital feature that has been requested for two and a half years. I will have no choice but to abandon this XD trial and continue using Sketch & InVision.

    I just had to replace one word in 20+ art boards, and was surprised to find that this wasn't a feature already.

    Yes!!! It discourage to use this tool, as this option is possible for example in Axure...
