Having an input textbox in XD would be soooo helpful. kindly Add this feature pls, users need to be able to see a live preveiw of what they are typing into TEXT feilds to really appreciate the prototyping design done.

We're considering changing prototyping tools, it's great having everything in one place with Adobe, but if we can't do actual user testing with fields it's a no go.

Yes! This is the main reason I use Axure over other tools, I often need to see what a user would type into a field to answer a question as a test for the question wording being clear enough to the user.

I miss the functionality of the input box. An input box where the user can type and immediately see on the screen what is he writing. This is the only reason why sometimes I have to go back to Axure RP. And I hate these moments.

Please do this! Literally no design/prototyping tool does this, you have to use multiple tools (XD + UX Pin for eg) to achieve it which is such a pain. This is vital for user testing web application forms, I'd imagine a large proportion of your users are in-house designers, creating enterprise software for their companies, not portfolio sites or shops. This is a must!

This feature is really needed in XD. As in Uxpin, INPUT TEXT BOX and DROPDOWN MENU is just a drag and drop. Hopefully Adobe is also having a very strong development team to add this feature.

now more then ever does Adobe XD need to add this, with most of the other functionality being integrated into XD already this is the oly basic feature that shocked me when I realised this wasn't do-able within XD.

Please please add this. It is VITALLY needed. For a prototyping app to not provide at least the basic input fields like text, radio, popup leaves so so much out. I thought this would appear in the 2020 version but sadly it didn't and nothing at Adobe Max showed it either.

Please, myself and everyone here and in tons of other similar requests are begging for this. Even just a super simple few components that function like the real things. Please? :)
