Scroll to Anchor Link Target
The anchor link that target the specific part of the page. This is the significant user experience on web usability where user can "back to top" or can navigate (i.e. from menu bar) to the specific sessions without the need to scroll through entire pages.
In today’s release of XD, we’ve introduced scroll to anchor link. You can learn more about this here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CpfKVTkPbgg

This is currently essential for the prototyping of single page responsive site design. It would be a really welcome addition to the software without a doubt.

Why is this not in XD? It should be in the latest update.

This is an incredible feature in other prototyping tools, and would be a welcome feature in XD to better simulate final functionality.

I was ready to switch from using InVision for my prototyping to XD but then I noticed that you lack this feature. Please push this to your next update.

Has this been implemented in the software?? How is this not part of the software??? Please tell me this will happen soon or has happened already but I just haven't figured out how to do it???!!!!!! C'mon Adobe. You're better than this.

Even linking to a another block element on the prototype would work. I hope this comes out soon for the cases when a user clicks on a link from the home page to go down to a certain portion of the page.

Has there been any suggestion of when this will be included / updated??? Not having this feature is killing my UX demos. Please Adobe!!!

Add ability to set artboard scroll point/anchor or setting artboard scrolling up or down in pixels (or other units). Examples include: when clinking/tapping a hyperlink or a button page scrolls to display certain content; when search is performed an artboard displays and scrolls to a specific content.

Here is a little word problem for your consideration:
1) At the 1180px vertical position on my home page is a link to the Mission Statement on my About Us page.
2) On the About Us Page, the Mission Statement is located at the 695px vertical position.
3) While the addition of "preserve scroll position" is lovely, when is Adobe going to give us the ability to add custom anchors to elements that we want to show up in the Prototype "Targets" list? -

From my point of view the anchor link is an essential key feature for a software like this.
It would push the software quite hard in terms of demonstrating the user experience. Thanks in regards!

This is desperately needed for one single page sites/landing pages. Almost can't believe it doesn't exist

Adobe, if you don't support anchor links yet, you're killing your product. Anchor links are a basic need and you should've included it in your prototype functionality from the start. Instances like these are why people are switching over to other software. I'm rooting for you but c'mon already.

this is done even in iOS mobile apps where clicking on the status bar often takes user to top

Please, add the option to link an object to an area of the same artboard, so that when clicking the object it will automatically bring you to that area (Ex: Click a menu voice on top and it will scroll down in the relative area).
In alternative, it'd be nice to link the object to a copy of the same artboard and being able to select the "starting area" of the screen (kinda like the preserve scroll position option which allows you to scroll towards top too).
Thanks!

After the Feb 12th release, Mac & Win now have a checkbox below "duration" to "preserve scroll position" between transitions. I had to manually update my app to get the checkbox.
It's not anchor links, but this drastically improves demoing prototypes and is appreciated! Hopefully this helps out others following this thread!
