Scroll to Anchor Link Target
The anchor link that target the specific part of the page. This is the significant user experience on web usability where user can "back to top" or can navigate (i.e. from menu bar) to the specific sessions without the need to scroll through entire pages.
In today’s release of XD, we’ve introduced scroll to anchor link. You can learn more about this here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CpfKVTkPbgg

Anchoring link in the same page needs to be there. This will help in a lot of projects.

This is the closest workaround I have found. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PV3Dd-saJsw
Really frustrating that this is not a feature yet though.

I have tried the previous xd file and that's a transition between 2 artboards. We need to link one object to another in the same artboard. Similar to HTML anchor links, XD would need a new input property in objects to name them and then could use them as a destination for links.

Now it's achievable you just have to place your object of the screen to create that effect see my attached file

I actually could have use this feature in two recent projects.
There are many one page scroller request with our clients, specifically with campaign related product microsite.
Allowing XD to add anchors on a screen would be a great addition. Could also be useful when creating a Guided Tour or tutorial flow is needed.
Maybe adding a new anchors could be a draggable horizontal guide line with a different color with the label on the side to help identify them.
Please consider this feature.

You've been giving the same answer since 2016!!!!
You're telling me that in 3 years you haven't been able to add ONE, VERY simple feature that is a HUGE headache for ANYONE that's trying to create a demo to show? I mean that's nearly the entire purpose of Xd is to demo site examples and styles, yet there's this massive lack of simple control that you've neglected for 3 years.
WHY are we paying the monthly subscription costs if you aren't doing anything to improve the software? You may think I'm being harsh, but if my boss told me to fix a problem and it took me 3 years to figure out the solution, I'd have been fired 2 years back...
FIX IT.

XD should allow designers to link text or images to a specific section of a page. This app needs to allow designers to create prototypes of links that direct users to a specific paragraph or section on the page. It also need to allow designers to make drop down menus.

Definitely a need. It becomes very difficult for viewers to follow along when the page jumps with every little action such as opening a drop down.

Solution: 1) Make your entire artboard a component (select all art-->create component of all art), have your display size at nascent height (ie. if an iphone X, keep at default w x h). Duplicate your artboard, physically slide your entire component in artboard 2 up to the desired anchor point (i.e. most of your art will be off the artboard). 2) In "prototype" create a link from the desired button or whatever in artboard 1, and make sure "auto animate" is selected in the interaction palette. Good luck.
