Fixed elements in scrolling artboards (header, nav bar, etc.)
Since you already started with scrollable area inside artboard, it would be awesome if we could define sticky header. For example, one page website has a lot of content, but I want to create sticky header so when I scroll down, it stays at the top. Maybe you could add the option so we can define the group and assign the sticky header option to it. That way on any artboard we can just assign that option to it and that's it.
Fixed elements are finally here!! We’re incredibly excited to announce that you can select any top-level element in your artboard and click “Fixed Position” to fix your element anywhere in the viewport.

Guys this is my guess for the reason why this hasn't happened yet: It is because Adobe XD is transitioning from an image base prototyping app (each of our screens are basically an image with image mapped hot spots) to a more feature rich coded prototype app (Where elements can be coded and can be separate elements easily) yet trying to retain the same speedy front end experience. Think about all the updates, underline text, remember the page scroll from one page to another. Nice but pretty lame iterations, all coming out of image and hotspot based architecture.
So now XD has achieved it's social proof within the company and validated it's business model, it's staff number have gone up a lot and that's because a few are keeping the current app 'ticking over' whilst a large number work on the main killer app to come...

i think we should have layer option not just artboard in XD. The layer can be lock when we scroll that will not effective to that layer. And that layers can be also wire each other when we scroll, some kind of scrolling effect that can change layer to layer. I think that kind of thing can help us to create sticky header and change header design when we scroll.

How about this maybe you should talk to the Adobe Muse team and see how they wrote the code that allows pinning when designing website!! And just copy what they have done.

I work for a design college and the fact that your team is still working on this is very disconcerting. When will this fix be active and ready for the community to use? Do you not understand that you will lose people to other apps...?

Hi, been using XD since the beta came out and now i've upgraded to the yearly subscription to cc. PLEASE create this feature! This is a basic, crucial function in almost all apps, and the fact that we can't use it in our protos is very, VERY frustrating. I've used InVision and though this feature is available, creating hotspots on a LOT of screens is very time-consuming. PLEASE get this feature out soon!
