Show preview in OS X Quick Look
OS X's Quick Look doesn't work, I can't look content
(macOS Finder spacebar / space shortcut)

We have a story to fix this and give a preview of an artboard for this view.

This has been in the backlog for 4 years?
i have 100s of xd files most have similar names. This would help so much in our workflow. -

Anything on this yet? It's the end of 2020 the original ask was 2016.
Am I missing a setting in XD or something? -

Of course needed in Windows (Explorer, XNview...) as well.

Good grief, Adobe... 4 years and still nothing on this? It's a major pain in the proverbial for me, not being able to see previews of XD files in Finder. Sketch files, no worries.
Hurry up!

I waited for 4 years, and finally I developed it myself, and it took about one night. I have never encountered obj-c and swift before.

going to be 4 years. wow Adobe! I am working with a ton of files, which makes quick view very helpful. Like others mentioned your own other software have this capability but XD is left out. It is very much of a pain & frustation to open up multiple files and then close them to find which one is needed. Kindly update the way XD files are binary coded, so that it can be viewed in quick look on a mac.

WE. NEED. THIS.
Please allow mac users to quick-look (spacebar preview) the content of the XD-file.
Other vector and artboard based software do this with ease (e.g. Illustrator and Affinity Designer).
It's been more than three years since you stated that it was on the roadmap... this shouldn't take long to implement - please prioritize it. -

I would love this feature since I always use the thumbnail view in finder. Any update on getting this working?

The number of resources that people are making for XD now is great but when I've downloaded a whole pack of them it would be great to be able to preview them, even if it's just a whole artboard thumbnail. I didn't make these files so I am not going to remember which one is which, would so much easier to have a visual reminder of what's in what.

It would be nice if Adobe XD would allow me to preview documents using macOS' built in quicklook feature (hitting spacebar in finder).

Maybe if it's a clickthrough, it could preview the home artboard? But page-down/up should definitely work to run through all the artboards. Definitely, this would be super helpful. The inability to have multiple concurrent clickthroughs (each updatable) in a single file forces one to create multiple files for the same project. Implementing Quick Look would really help in distinguishing the files.

I am very disappointed every time when I need to open files one by one to find the one I need. A pain, frustration and hopelessness when I see how long ago this one was put to your backlog...
