Support game controller navigation
There are many applications where the interface is navigated with input devices like game controllers. It would be great if we could get some support for these.
With the May 2019 update we now support gamepad based triggers in XD. (Xbox & DualShock 4) For more details refer to this – https://helpx.adobe.com/xd/help/keys-gamepad-triggers.html

I'll go ahead and throw a +1 here.
I run the UX department at a multi-project game studio and we would utilize this thoroughly.

Currently working in a big video game company as a lead ui art, it will be a huge help for my team to have this feature !

I'm doing app prototypes for KaiOS (for smart feature phones). Most handsets use the D-pad. This feature would be an immense help

I wholeheartedly agree! I work in the video games industry and finding a prototyping solution that functions with an game pad controller is problematic. Solutions are usually home grown. It would be nice to have something off the shelf.

Could you merge the votes from that older thread (https://adobexd.uservoice.com/forums/353007-adobe-xd-feature-requests/suggestions/12958911-support-game-controller-navigation) with this one? Both seem to cover the same topic! Thanks.

This would be amazing. I design for video games and would absolutely use XD more often if I could map it to the proper input controllers.

Yes, please make this happen! I'm a UI designer in the video game industry and being able to use a XBOX/PS4 controller to navigate a prototype would help immensely when pitching console flows/concepts to the rest of my team.

Yes! This! I'd use XD CC sooooo much more if I could design for XBOX/PS4... even if it's just the ability to bind the actions to a keyboard button (then I could use something like XPadder to replicate the gamepad).

Keyboard assigning, to simulate TV remotes for prototyping TV layouts. Arrow keys to navigate and custom key assign. This will help with visualizing the experience and feeling the flow.
Thank you

in the meanwhile you can try with this:

Yes please, there's currently no UX prototyping app that does this natively as far as I can tell. It's a seriously overlooked need for people in my industry.
Adobe, this would be a big selling point for XD.
Would need to be able to control active selection, trigger things using button input on at least the xbox 360 controller, preferably PS4.
Extra credit would be the ability to live swap out bitmaps based on where input is coming from, so for example, if the player picked up the xbox controller and started using it, button prompt images could automatically change to represent controller input rather than keyboard/mouse input, and vice versa.

XD now only supports touch or mouse interfaces.
I would like to prototype remote controlled interfaces for TV's, Game Consoles, Projectors, etc.
This would need a keyboard input and mapping feature, (instead of mouse and touchinput)
and a feature that can move a selector to focus on interactebale items in the UI. -
