Generate specs / measurements / style guide for developers

What definitely needed in the Design community is to ease the design-development delivery-review phase. To unload both of the sides.

A lot of different platforms, tools, plugins were meant to do that and none of them is fully unloading and simplifying that process.

PNG Express, Specking, Avocode, Markly, Zeplin, Craft, Marketch etc...

I believe there is a need in having some specifications delivery service, styleguide generating service.

Specs:
+ Measuring distance from text line height (because that's how developers do), not font size.
+ Ability to adjust the UI on the go with automatic sepcs changing
+ Ability to select and automatically calculate the parameter type (dp, px, pt, em, sp) with defining default
etc.

Styleguide:
+ Automatically generated colour palette. And when you change the colour in palette it changes everywhere in the UI.
+ Font styles
+ Generating assets
+ Generating SVGs
etc

    Please add this feature as soon as possible! I love to work in Adobe apps but the lack of this amazing feature is forcing me to work in the sketch. And Sketch is getting more functional these days with some good plugins.

    I like XD, but it is way behind the sketch, adobe should have thought of this way before, as the software is focused on experience designing then it is obvious that it would go to the developers. Missing of this feature is a show stopper. Maybe we would think of XD after in app facility or integration with third party app. Till then going with sketch, but at the time you guys do this thing, sketch would come up with more features.

    I love XD, the way it helps me to design and prototype is awesome. But I feel the lag is only to share the designs with the developers. Eventually, developers are going to develop the product to the end users who will actually use. There must be a way of generating specs, style guide and exporting assets in a smarter way like zeplin or some other third party software's do.

    Please come up with a Zeplin alternative or give other Vendors (Like Zeplin) the ability to integrate! PLEEEASE PLEASE PLEASE. I may have to start using Sketch. The current way I work with engineers is not sustainable. I don't want to leave XD but I may have to...

    This features was presented in adobe max 2016, it wasn't started on development ?
    Or the feature shown was juste a fake for demo ?

    I love XD and the fact that I can quickly develop clickable wireframes for client review and approval. However, I just spent roughly 6-8 hours exporting pdf layouts and marking them up for the developers. When this functionality lands in XD, I feel the largest missing component will hit. That, and a library of feature to share with others. :)

    The main reason for not using Experience Design as my main design tool is because I cannot export to Zeplin

    I'm with Adobe XD Beta for a 1.5 years now. And the most needed feature is still in the backlog. Good job.

    Please add this function! I was so close to switching from Sketch to Xd... but the lacking of mark-up function affected heavily on this decision.

    If you're not working on this, maybe you could collaborate with the folks over at Zeplin to make it happen? I'll be using Sketch until then.

    How this feature is currently not in-development baffles me. It really smoothens out the transition from design to development and is key in taking app into production. This feature is crucial! Its no use for me to build something spectacular with XD then chuck the assets to the developers leaving them to figure it out. Please prioritise this feature over everything else.
