Inside/outside/center position of stroke/border
Ability to change the stroke from inside/outside/center
You can now change the position of the border along the stroke for closed paths in the December release of Adobe XD! Check it out, and let us know what you think. If you’d like to see additional improvements to this feature, please feel free to file it as a separate ticket.

As in AI, PS and ID, setting the position of a border/stroke in relation to the item it is applied to, would be hugely beneficial. Setting pixel-specific dimensions for object sizes and positions is great, but then adding a stroke affects that size and position (visually) by being applied centrally. Quite frustrating, but hopefully something which is in the pipeline :)

Yet another program from Adobe that can't do Inner Shadow, like Illustrator can't for years, although they have it in InDesign and Photoshop. Ugh.

You can already set opacity for Fill, Border and Shadow separately -- just open the color picker and adjust the opacity slider. Our next update will have a new color picker that makes this a little more obvious.
Given that, perhaps we should close this and open a new feature request just focused on inner shadow?

Currently (from preview 2, April edition) lines import from illustrator nicely now but the rounded ends disappear which breaks icon design.

yes! Second this - the export at different resolutions is awesome, but I can't use it for many illustrations until these stroke attributes are enabled.

When creating a shadow on an object, you should be able to quickly choose to make it an inset shadow

Currently not enough options to adequately replicate common UI elements. Global transparency is fine, but will also need the ability to tweak each one.
Nice work so far though!

Something similar to Illustrator's stroke attributes would be helpful to allow rounded endpoints, aligning a stroke to the outer edge, inner edge, or half and half.
