Need Little bit tapping/hover effect on list/buttons/links during presentation to client. Its give an actual working product feel and help to make decision.

Invision with sketch works just fine with no complaints whatsoever and is made for web as well as app design. Adobe XD is only for app design. End of story

Why is hover not there already?? It's essential!

Done with this shit. Switched to InVision Studio. Actually way more useful tools.

Ironic—a tool to design user experiences, doesn't take its own users' needs into account.

Alright; so I tried this product a couple of years ago. I came to the conclusion that time that it was too simple. It's been a while now; so I thought I'd give it a try again for a project. Just a few minutes in I figured out that hover is still not implemented - but voice is. What is this? How is voice more important than hover? Adobe XD apparantly is not made for prototyping websites for desktops. Will uninstall this horrible app, until you get hover among other functions.

It's becoming apparent that XD is not a tool meant for designing on the web.

ya most of my colleagues have experienced this issue to and sometimes its proven to be embarrassing to try and explain a function such as hover to clients. Really embarrssing :( One of my colleagues had to export it to sketch and invision and became such a pain that it took him twice the time... just to show hover states

This really is some of the key features a designer should have. I'm also considering switching to sketch if this is not part of the roadmap. I'm experiencing this problem now in several projects.

Could you at least give any feedback whether it is coming at some point or not?

It is not only needed for customer presentation... Hover/tap states are also part of the specs for the dev teams.

I have come to the conclusion that ADobe wont introduce hover effect. Its impossible for Adobe to justify the rationale to implement Voice Triggers instead of Hover effect.
Adobe have just lost a customer.

Dan Prado commented
How come this is less important than "Voice input trigger"?
Seriously Adobe, hover effects are one of the main user interaction and very important when presenting a prototype. It's painfull to have to explain to the client how hover effects will work when they can't actually see it.

Suggesting Muse users to switch to XD, yet did not implement the basic hover effect at the first place.
Discontinued Muse already frustrates me and now the alternative app does not have the very basic UX feature. Will definitely migrate to InVision if Adobe do nothing about this

Please consider all basic interactions of button status in various devices and systems.
PC/MAC => mouse event : hover - hover enter , hover out. / pressed down , pressed release ...
Mobile => tap event : tap on , tap release. , taped entering, taped exiting.Transitions are really important for delivering the best user experience.
