Customize Keyboard Shortcuts
I know that your design team probably had some rationale when defining shortcut keys for actions. For example, Z does not bring up the zoom tool, A is used for artboard creation instead of direct selection, etc. On the And that's fine - you can't design for the convenience of every user. But it'll be super duper awesome if you can let us define our own shortcuts... and sooner rather than later please.
For years this is keeping me from using Adobe XD at all and I’m still using outdated alternative methods because Adobe is making it very difficult. I’m a power user in InDesign and too many shortcut are different. I’ve never had such a hard time transitioning to a similar software. Please Adobe: let me use your software! I want to stay your customer and continue giving you money. Just think about the amount of InDesign users you have and if it’s a good idea to send them to a competitor while the transition to digital communication continues.
The software is borderline unusable without this essential feature. PLEASE fix this asap

Please put this request into the queue.

My god, I can't believe that this request is from 2016 and that this feature never came up since !
The shortcut aren't the same from a software to another, and it is really inconvenient !
Please, let us sets our own shortcut !

You can add shortcuts from System Preferences > Keyboard > Shortcuts
Add the app and the exact name of the command to assign new shortcuts.
A big pain in the ass, but it's the only way.
Adobe WAKE UP!

I vote for this feature. Really helpful.

i don't understand why they don't fix that yet. Really important feature to have it asap.
Can we hurry up with this please? Christ, this should've been in the beta, not years and several iterations later....

Yep, it's so confusing when they tote being able to work cross platform easily, yet I have to constantly switch my brain to different forms of working and hotkeys when changing programs. Stop focusing on celebrity endorsement and focus on fixing your software.

My GOD! Why is XD slacking so much! As a professional designer that runs through adobe CC with my eyes closed, i feel like a noob when in XD. So many things missing. CRUCIALLY the inability to redefine shortcut keys like ALL OTHER APPLICATION in ADOBE CC. COME ON. Its been HALF A DECADE. I have been more than patient. But now its becoming detrimental to work flow.
No Shortcut keys
No Ability to move the tools bar around
Not being able to relink components to new components
No way to find/change/replace text or objects
SHAME, SHAME, SHAME

Still an amateur program until you fix this. Sorry not sorry

I really in need of it for example I want to minimize screen to 75% with ctrl 3
A very basic feature... A modern program must have this.
I am leaning more and more towards Figma.
Thats a serious problem. Cmon you gotta add that. Besides, I really dont understand why some Adobe Softwares have specific features and others do not. Like, dont you communicate internally or what else is the reason for not just implementing eg. the features from photoshop to xd? I dont get that..
I'm voting for this, too.

Can't believe it's still a backlog - the product manager in charge is clearly does not understand the end user (in this case UX designer) needs and workflows associated with these needs. If you were to do proper use research, you would uncover that this feature is really important to the design professionals and not being able to customise (create new) shortcuts will make us want to switch to a different product.
Could you please provide the same shortcut settings in all Adobe programs? Working on a non US Keyboard also makes it even harder to adjust.
I am personally struggling with the "Pan" shortcut, default bound on mouse wheel. I never click my mouse wheel and have a mouse that is partially broken (exactly the mouse wheel click doesn't work)
Still in the backlog, since 2016? Adobe XD seems to be a contradiction of good user experience :(
Yes please allow.
For exemple, It would really really be useful to have a shortcut that allow users to select (in the prototype), ALL the links of ONLY one artboard. I've been searching for that and the assistance support told me that this shortcut is not available
I've posted this idea about the prototyping mode, here is where users can vote for this idea of particular short-code : https://adobexd.uservoice.com/forums/353007-adobe-xd-feature-requests/suggestions/42900885-a-shortcut-to-select-at-same-time-all-the-links-of
