Import Videos & Animated GIFs to show in interactive preview
Support to import a video or animated GIFs to simulate animations or even playable video.

Hello everyone! I’m excited to announce that in XD 45 (released today 10/26), you will be able to import MP4 video into your XD designs.
To ensure platform compatibility and performance across desktop, web and mobile preview, your video must be:
MP4
H.264
AAC audio
under 15 MB
4K or under resolution.
Enjoy and we can’t wait to see what you create!
XD does not support Animated GIF, so if you are still looking for that, please start a separate request and vote on it.

It is now almost a requirement in the UX of an app to quickly describe its purpose and how it works with video or animation. Without this feature, XD prototypes cannot adequately illustrate the UX to potential customers and collaborators. Since a core value proposition of prototype is to sell ideas, this obvious hole is puzzling. Is there a technical issue that makes this one difficult?

Video is essential and is what could not only set this apart from other Adobe products, but actually allow for a better integration of all multimedia elements created using the Adobe suite. Valve pls fix <3

Unfortunately, not being able to have a video within a demo is a deal breaker for using XD. Please Adobe, add a video player we can play with a tap and view fullscreen!

I'm sure someone has already mentioned this but it would be useful if these could be triggered in different ways, e.g. trigger on click, trigger on page page open etc.

My Prototype need to show different scenarios to work. Easiest way to do this is to add small animation sequences or video. Please add support for this!
