The anchor link that target the specific part of the page. This is the significant user experience on web usability where user can "back to top" or can navigate (i.e. from menu bar) to the specific sessions without the need to scroll through entire pages.2,665 votes
The option for a darker interface like Photoshop and Illustrator would be great, especially when working at night.2,193 votes
What do you think about something like this:
Design mode while smart-object selected can show one more tab at app header with smart-object name. In the appearance panel at the right adds some fields while smart object is selected.
To edit smart-object you should open tab with it and work as before, except that artboards name is the name for different state
And You can place another smart object in a smart object ;)1,458 votes
Option to link objects (or generate smart objects) when pasted from a PSD or AI source to maintain a reference.
This would provide a simple method for single or multiple object updates (beyond the CC Design Libraries integration)—saving time and ensuring all objects are the most current.
Example: Revision to a microphone icon via Illustrator, which is used across 20 artboards1,263 votes

We are planning for more robust text support for RTL fonts in the future.
When you choose font for text, would be good to have some preview about how it'll look.778 votes
Ability to align text to the top/middle/bottom of the text box. I'm sure you've already got the horizontal alignment options covered in your checklist.697 votes
Instead of being able to connect only by a USB cable, the ability to connect via wifi. Any roadmap for this would be useful to know.522 votes
Thanks for adding gradients !
Right now, we can add colours to our 'favourites' with the + button, could we also save gradients when in the gradient tool?
Something really nice too would be to allow the pipette to pick the gradient of a shape/artboard.
These too would save a lot of time !!384 votes
While XD doesn’t yet have this feature to save gradients in the color picker popup’s swatches, you do have several other options today:
- Store gradients in the Assets panel swatches: open the Assets panel on the left side (View > Assets), and click the “+” next to Colors. Then select any other object and click the gradient swatch to apply it to that object.
- Copy gradient fills between objects: use regular Copy on the source object, then select the destination object and choose Paste Appearance.
Support for native device functions (e.g. Cordova).
Example dropdown selection, media players, maps, etc.
This would increase the demo's effectiveness and allow for a more real-world prototype.374 votes
I know that your design team probably had some rationale when defining shortcut keys for actions. For example, Z does not bring up the zoom tool, A is used for artboard creation instead of direct selection, etc. On the And that's fine - you can't design for the convenience of every user. But it'll be super duper awesome if you can let us define our own shortcuts... and sooner rather than later please.342 votes
Apparently only JPG/PNG is supported when performing drag & drop of a set of images.
My assets are often SVG so supporting that format there would spare me from having to generate temporary PNGs or place manually.
It seems currently it adds all SVGs on all cells when dropping and creates a mask of all the files combined(??).
Thank you.204 votes
I´m designing for several screens at once and would like to be able to create separate links for the different screens. Eg one for desktop, one for tablet and one for phone. So that I easily can work on all the screens at once and don't have to change files.195 votes
As a workaround for this featire you can make your home artboard an “index” page which links to the different views/subsets of your design. When you share your design and visit the URL you can click through to the real home artboards and copy the URL (each artboard has it’s own URL on the shared link). You can then share these URLs to link people to a subset of your design.
We hope to be able to formalize this feature in the future.
I would like to be able to clear all prototype wires similar to how the clear all guides option works in other Adobe products.164 votes
At the moment a locked object can still be selected, hindering the ability to select an object underneath.
It would be great if locked object would be completely disabled, similar to how an illustrator locked object behaves.137 votes
OS X's Quick Look doesn't work, I can't look content126 votes
We have a story to fix this and give a preview of an artboard for this view.
Currently, for scrolling artboards there is a fixed-position dotted line that defines the height of the viewport in the interactive preview.
For desktop web sized artboards, I'd like the position of the dotted line to automatically adjust dynamically so the prototype fills the full height of the user's screen. For example, on a laptop screen the scrollable viewport might be 960px tall and when the same prototype is viewed on a desktop monitor the viewport might be 1200px tall.92 votes

Thanks for your feedback! This feature is already in our backlog – not sure when it will arrive, but we’re aware of the need for it.
