Allow fractional pixels / turn off pixel snapping
The current feature of switching on/off snapping by holding "Cmd" in Mac or "Ctrl" in Windows doesn't work properly. Additionally, we couldn't align shapes or objects with one another as there isn't feature to turn on/off the snap to pixel grid for the entire document.
Please note that the Cmd/Ctrl keyboard shortcut you’ve mentioned below is actually used for turning off snapping to other objects and to the layout or square grid. I’ll merge this with another request.

Extending the CMD / CTRL modifier key to also temporarily turn off snapping to the pixel grid would be great. But we also need a separate toggle — e.g. so odd-sized objects can be centered to even-sized objects (right now they won't centre because they are forced up a ½ pixel to keep snapping intact).

This isn't just a nice to have, it's one of the things really holding back this software. The less parity XD has with other Adobe software like Illustrator, the less useful it is.
The pixel grid slows me down an enormous amount; just basic things like centring one object on another / aligning things properly becomes a chore without this feature, so I end up having to do it in Illustrator and copy + paste it into XD. Ridiculous omission from the software really, in my opinion.

XD is crap compared to Sketch or Figma. Nothing in it works as it should. You can't even create list items properly without some sort of half baked plugin.

Waiting for the possibility to turn off the align to grid function.

Having this snapping on/off option will be great in the future.
